EA Play (July 22) Dragon Age content?

I think there will be something for DA4 but it certainly isn't guaranteed. Last year's EA Play was really lame (pandemic probably had a big impact), but we did still see a few seconds of DA4.

It seemed like they were ramping things up last year (few seconds at EA Play, BTS video at Gamescom, DA Day stuff, and The Game Awards teaser). We've only had a few new pieces of concept art this year but otherwise quiet so it could be a good occasion to turn up the hype again, especially with MELE release behind us.

I'm not expecting gameplay because it seems too early, though if they really have entered alpha then I suppose it isn't out of the question. More realistically, we could get another short teaser, perhaps with the unveiling of the title. Or another BTS vid would be cool. A release year would also be nice but even without that, what they show or don't show might clue us in.

For Mass Effect, I don't expect to hear anything again for a long time.

I'm ready to dig into the meat of this game! But I don't expect gameplay until next year. So here's hoping for a trailer and a protagonist reveal.

Well, that's a publisher decision. It had nothing to do with being ready or not.

EA is hosting EA Play. They obviously want to pad their show. If they'd want to show something, they'd show it there.

I think they’ll continue their tradition of showing something that’ll show the hardcore fans that the game is still alive and coming along.

Best case: we get a BTS or a teaser showing new stuff.
Bad case: we get a fleeting image or two like last year’s EA play.
Worst case: they give us something they’ve already shown us before.

I expect there to be a proper gameplay trailer and some real information about the game. If not then I will be a little bit disappointed but on the other hand I've already been disappointed many times during the course of these nearly 10 years waiting for this game so it doesn't feel so bad anymore.
