While I agree the geth having the piece of N7 armor on it, at least Shepard is able to ask it why whereas that option is not available to ask the asari There is no such option because the expert Asari would suppress any such question beforehand. By what? Playing the cat-got-my-tongue syndrome? That's likely what would happen. I believe it's because Bioware didn't want any friction between the alien and Shepard. Instead of having the 3 paragon interrupts in the dlc, I would have 3 renegade interrupts with one of them asking about the armor renegade interrupt #1
Shepard: Before anything else happens, how about answering a couple of questions? Did you tell anyone or at least make any effort to tell anyone Cerberus had my body?
Liara: I...I....don't know.........
renegade interrupt #2
Shepard: Why do you have my armor in your apartment on display like its some kind of prize?
Liara: That's.....I.......I....
renegade interrupt #3
Shepard: If you can't answer my questions, I'm leaving.
Liara: Shepard....I...can't...
Shepard: That's what I thought. You're suffering from cat-got-your-tongue syndrome. While you go see a doctor about that, I will be heading back to my ship. One last thing. I don't ever want to see you again. Understand?
If Shepard is romancing Liara, he/she ends the relationship right there. In ME3, what could happen is Liara doesn't show up after the first two dreams and there is no scene about the time capsule. She also doesn't offer the gift at the FOB. The same could happen for a Shepard that didn't romance her.

Since it was discussed what Kelly knew about Cerberus, here was what her backstory is. This was cut content from ME3.
Well, I've been questioning myself. I owe Cerberus a great deal. Was it right for me to leave them? It's a long story. Did you know I actually met the Illusive Man face to face once? Few have. Before Cerberus, I was a waitress on a luxury liner with a very exclusive clientele. I'm not sure if the Illusive Man was there for business or pleasure. I just kept his drinks coming. "Bourbon. Three fingers. Neat." He had his pick of any working girl, but he took an interest in me, I suspect precisely because I wasn't for sale. We spoke for hours. It was obvious he wanted more than just good conversation. And I can't say I didn't want the same. He can be very seductive. I knew if I slept with him, I'd lose all his respect. I didn't want that to happen. I never saw him again after that night, at least not in person. The management of the liner changed sometime later. Batarians took over. Things got really bad. Some of the staff were beaten. Others just disappeared. None of us could leave. I don't know exactly why, but one day Cerberus boarded and cleaned the ship out. Killed every batarian. But they took care of the entertainers. Made sure we were all safe. Set us up with lodging until we got on our feet. I got a message from the Illusive Man. He'd pay for my college, and if I did well, I'd have a job waiting for me. So you see, I owe him my life, in more ways than one. So long story short, the Illusive Man got me out of a bad situation, gave me an education and a job. He gave me a future.
So yeah, she knew nothing about the real Cerberus. All she knew was that they saved people like her. Similar to the rest of the crew. People who knew only the good, used to sell Shepard on it while not knowing the bad.

Also agree on Liara being far creepier than both Sam and Kelly combined.

This is why she has a good foundation to become a good villain. Also I like both Kelly and Sam. I like them both, too. I just like to kid about how Kelly failed to see to the needs of Shepard's fish and therefore impacted the mental health of Shepard everything he or she walks into the cabin and see dead fish.

Either way, you must have known about fish. You can buy them at various places and you've got that giant fish tank in your cabin. Yes, did that in ME1. Once in ME2 maybe. There were no fish in ME1. You first find them in ME2.

Neither are annoying to me. Kelly has a pretty good and believable arc into ME3 if she survives. Traynor is just a nice girl.
But the one thing that annoyed me was I could never figure out what she was. Was she British Indian or not? She looks like she could be.
I also agree Liara is the resident creep of the series.

I also agree Liara is the resident creep of the series. I don't understand why more people don't see this. Most people probably romanced her first so her creepy tendencies aren't as obvious. If you don't and start experimenting around, you see she is one of the most forced and creepy characters in a game.

Actually she was my canon romance for the original release because of her creepy obsessive behavior toward Shepard (i.e. she couldn't let go).

I realized that Kelly was manipulating me literally my first conversation with her back when ME2 was released. She's not subtle in her attempts to be manipulative, and it's always bugged me that I was never given the option to say so.
Samantha always felt much more genuine.

Yeah, I've only played the Trilogy two times and romanced Liara both times, so to me she's not creepy. But after I finish Andromeda I will replay the Trilogy and romance Ashley or Miranda, and I will see why members say she is creepy. However if I am not romancing her and she is in Shepard's room while he is sleeping, then yeah that is creepy.

I really like Samantha too, so it’s not bias. Also In the example you used, at no point does Kelly try to manipulate you.

That’s her doing her job which in 2 she is completely honest about in the first conversation you can have with her. The only way she manipulates you is unknowingly as a prop of TIM to make Cerberus look good, like everyone else. In that respect I will agree the manipulation was obvious.

She was also reporting more than what she initially claimed, a fact that she treats as shameful to the point of committing suicide if Shepard doesn't forgive her.

Most of Samantha's dialogues with Shepard. She's either fishing for praises or kissing your feet. The thing is, she doesn't. In ME2 she talks about how she monitors how the crew is doing. In 3 she says she reported how you were doing. I don't get why Bioware acted like this was some different thing that she kept secret. Probably just an excuse to kill her again because screw her and her fans I guess.
