Article: ME1 has aged worse than MEA

I think it's strange to compare how a 4 year old game has "aged" compared to a 14 year old game. Of course a game from 2007 that introduced a brand new IP and new mechanics would have struggled a bit to find its footing, and of course you'd notice those things more 14 years later after trends in gaming have changed.

I'm not in any way "offended" by the article, I just don't think it's saying much of substance.

A quick few things.

1. I'm offended that youd think I would be offended by this offence.

2. I'm actually surprised more people don't have me blocked, well actually not because most people like to complain that I joke around too much and cant take the time to hit the fucking block button.





This is a true statement. Comparing a 14 year old game to 4 year old game.

And I would also like to add when plot is good, when what I am actually doing in the game matters, I can overlook some of the weak points of the game.

The plot, the atmosphere, the characters, the setting is all A+.

There is nothing in Mass Effect Andromeda that even comes close to that. When the "better" gameplay elements are in service of a garbage plot, garbage characters, garbage setting, then I don't really care if the gameplay is "better".

Lets see what ME1 has that the new age game called MEA doesn't have.
The option to not recruit squadmates.
Killing a squadmate.
A quarian on the roster.
the power wheel
A main character that is interesting.

Yeah. I take the older game over the newer game. excellent.

Why are they even comparing a 14 year old game to MEA. Look I love MEA but the people making it messed up big time. From not shutting up on twitter, to Bioware giving it to a less experience part of the team, to them catoring to any kindof crowd instead of making the game better. Point is, MEA had issues and trying to slam an older much better product isn't going to make it better. You like me can love MEA, just don't go trying to say it's better because MA1 is old and had weak combat.

Like the animations and load times in MEA makes it even worst if you think about it. And we REALLY need to talk about not being able to use the beds and chairs. Like Bioware... please. Shepard and Ryder need to sleep and sit down in their rooms. PLEASE.

Well MEA does almost everything better than ME1 (or for me, other ME's). At the moment I dont actually know what ME1 does better but I havent had my coffee yet...

With slight alterations you're describing the faults of Andromeda to most people's eyes frankly.

Do you think Andromedas story, dialogue choices and side quests are any better? I'm pretty sure your just trolling for a reaction at this point...

Nah man, I already had coffee and maybe I'd give a point for the original world building, but thats it mostly.

For god sake man give him a second to log back into his alt!
