The Venatori are still a factor post Trespasser but it has never been made clear what happened to the Red Templars after Corypheus was removed from the scene. It is possible that the title is now given to anyone who has been force fed red lyrium in order to give special powers to what would otherwise be an ordinary soldier. It was clear from Tevinter Nights that the Venatori must have imported large quantities of red lyrium to Tevinter if one of their cult could use it on such a frivolous enterprise as making fashion wigs. So it could be set nearer to the time period of the game.

It would be interesting if that were true but it is possible the writers at Bioware have forgotten this codex from DA2 and so aren't aware of the implications when they agreed to the title. After all, a lot of the old team are no longer there and even those that are don't always seem to know when lore slip-ups occur until someone points it out to them. Absolution is a pretty generic religious term so they could argue it was being used in Tevinter long before the Anderfels converted to the Maker.

So I think this is why EA announced the name of Dragon Age 4 -- it didn't want confusion with this.

This is a delta "city", but the far away background make it looks like its near a desert. Also, that's a huge statue of "Andraste"...

The first thing I thought when seeing the spire was Circle of Magic and after looking into WoT vol 1, there is a concept art that looks a bit like this one in the Tevinter section, except more gray and no coast. The caption mention that circle of magi were build over old god temples. 

This isn't Minrathous, so that leaves Vyrantium (with no aqueducts) and any other coastal city in Tevinter we don't know anything about that might have circles like Carastes. So not helpful. 

Wasn't there some legend about Mythal and the moon...and Thedas has two moons too, but everyone forget the second one.

Looks...interesting so far

So the moon is bigger...which it actually looks bigger...which since the Dread Wolf is supposed to rise during an ecclispe I am now wondering if this is more then a stylistic decision...which also it just looks...well...BIG

Honestly to I was litterally just wondering if we were going to get more tie in stuff before DA:D released but honestly an animated TV show wasn't on my bingo card. 

I always thought that art in WoT was odd for Tevinter because of all the clouds, snow capped mountains and conifer trees but, leaving that aside, the architecture does look similar and since it specifically mentioned the Old God temples being re-purposed as Circles of Magi, that likely is what the desert shot is showing. It isn't necessarily on the coast; that could be an inland sea or lake. There is one shown on the map midway between Neromenian, Marothius and Vyrantium and it is likely there is more desert there.
It could still be Minrathous as we don't know how large the island is on which it was built. However, you are probably right. The aqueduct could be hidden behind the other buildings, so possibly Vyrantium. If it takes place after the comic series, then it can't be any of the east coast cities as the Qunari had pushed south as far as Neromenian. There are cities on the west side of the Nocen Sea though: Marnas Pell and Asariel. I don't think the latter has a Circle though, as Alexius tutored Dorian privately when they were at his estate there and then he returned to the Minrathous Circle to pass the tests that would make him a full Enchanter. May be it is another city not shown on the map but I think Vyrantium is the most likely.
