Fears for ME5. Obviously there may be spoilers!

As to Bioware I do worry -a bit...
After all its not the same Bioware it was at ME3 release.
Is that good or ill -I question not.

I will be fine with whatever they do as long as FIVE things are done right:
1. Story: Beginning, Middle and EndINGS -NO 3-in-1 ending -OR slights of hand.
2. A follow up on story: Make it concise and conclude properly: NOT like MEA's ending...What we're done? Ok I'm done.
3. If you connect it to the MET endings then give us some GOOD reasons why we should play if we chose different.
4. Squadmates better be avoidable -no more Liara's... or Zaheed's.
5. FOLLOW UP: LISTEN TO THE FANS!
6. Who cares no one at Bioware reads these threads anymore.

Concur, I don't consider Andromeda as a continuation of Mass effect series it's a stand-alone game as far as I'm concerned.

My fear is that it will be half-assed in any way, and not treated as a labor of love.

If I can see and feel the love, then it's good regardless of the contents because it was made with intention and followed through on.

Less than this, at this critical stage in the franchise history, is not acceptable. I fear that the game will not be made with visible care and love in all aspects of the making. This is something we feel as gamers, and sure this is subjective as hell... but it definitely is my bellwether.

Don't make a game built to maximize investor profit. Do make a game that will sell millions of copies due to player rave reviews, that will actually maximize investor profit.

The above is a really simple equation. Right? Am I totally crazy here?

I know its now standard in almost all social typing in this social digital media crap of an age. 

I ignore nothing till I observe though I wish I didn't have to speculate...
However I will NEVER install MEA again. -I'm sure some1 will tell u why.  
So with that the case... should I ask for picture of proof?

I'm still kind of hoping that Andromeda would become a spin-off series alongside a trilogy-based new series. Like the next one being a game that included something from Andromeda but being mainly in the MW to appease the fanbase. Then it could split off into two separate series which could both have some minor references to the other series. Of course, Bioware wouldn't be allowed to work on both at the same time, though with the groundwork already done with Andromeda they could make a sequel with much less effort.

This makes me feel uncomfortable, frankly.

They need to bring the two plots together, we don't need two entirely different major plots happening in the same gaming universe, and not have proper interaction between those parts and pieces.

Doing so would allow what you want to flourish. There should be a spin-off, or multiple spin-offs. I would like an arcadey shooty spin-off, and a colony builder, and a Liara VN, and a.... But I don't really want to try and juggle two separate and "galactic threat level" events at the same time. That sounds exhausting.

Resolve MEA, get rid of all big bads, allow smaller bads to flourish and make pockets of scum and villainy for us to discover and either relish or relegate. But, ny 2c, with inflation, is worth... 2c.

Server names aside, to me, even though it is not explicitly like the first three, MEA is obviously the fourth installment in the ME universe.

Anyone care to call the planet Mars and inform it that it’s not the 4th planet?
