Does anyone know if Star Wars Outlaws will have a downloadable OST for purchase? I just checked the PS Store, and I didn't see any mention of a downloadable OST for any version of Star Wars: Outlaws, just a digital artbook for the ultimate edition. I've not bought a lot of recent Ubisoft games, and the ones that I bought didn't have OST with the games, they could be release by another company and I don't know about it. I don't know if Ubisoft released OSTs for any of their games in the past in general. Also, this being a Star Wars game the music might be owned by Disney, and they might have final say on that and not Ubisoft. If there is any info on an OST I couldn't find it. Sorry.

The Story trailer was OK. The game looks very good - meaning visually - but the trailer didn't really tell us a whole lot that we didn't already know. Not sure about the price tag - will probably wait on reviews to see if it is worth it. Real reviews; not interested in what the incels have to say about how "ugly" the protagonist is. Jesus fucking Christ. The internet. Saw the story trailer for it and this looks like the kind of Star Wars game I want to play, (along with a third KOTOR or even just a pair of decent remakes of the original two). Price wise I do agree that the ultimate edition is way too expensive, but then again this is Ubisoft who has done this kind of shit before over the years and other Stephine Sterling I've seen very little said about it, suddenly it's like every nitwit on social media is bitching about the price. Why because it's fucking Star Wars? The same brand that Kenner sold an empty box with a coupon for toys that MIGHT you get, and this was back in 1977/1978! Right now, for me I can't pre-order it because even though I know it's coming out until late August I need to get expanded HDs for both my XBX and PS5 and given the prices range from $80-$200 depending on if it's internal or external and size of the new drive and I already got a backlog of games to get and/or upgraded to run better on the XBX and/or PS5 (whatever that means). Even getting a physical copy of any version of Star Wars: Outlaws would be a waste of my money and time because I would still have to install on the drive of either console and these kind of games of close to 150 GB at launch, and then throw in the patches, updates, DLC, expansions, and long with those things for other games and various apps that I play and/or use and that 1TB gets filled up very fast. I also need a new game chair. So I'm looking at the next few months buying a chair and new hard drives so I can play not only Star Wars: Outlaws but The Last of Us Part 1, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, Kingdom Hearts, Stellar Blade, The Last of Us Part 2 Remaster, Final Fantasy VII: Remake Intergrade, and oh yeah that little from that Canadian Company call BioWare game called Dragon Age: Dreadwolf as well keep playing Baldur's Gate III, Starfield, and Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, DAO, DA2, DAI, ME:LE, and MEA and more. Yea hth epric eha sm ebaulking a bi ttoo s oma ywai ton a sal efo ri tbu thaven' tdecided yet I think the game look sgood an dwill likely be fun but I'm not entirel ysure I' d want to pay that muc hfo rit. The things that I've heard about Dragon's Dogma 2 has put it way on the backburner, in "if on sale and I have more money than sense at the time" buy it kind of way.

Right now Im focused on Ghost of Tsushima and Star Wars Outlaws as my next two purchases....But I may not be able to buy Outlaws this year because I have a huge expense coming up in the next two to four weeks that will break my bank account, and I foresee that it may well be the first time in a very long time that I may well be in debt.
Unless my work benefits cover a sizeable portion of the cost... I will know by this Friday

It's been nearly a month now with my new hearing aids and they have been out-of-this-world amazing. Extremely expensive, but I got more than 50% in discounts and insurance coverage so my actual out of pocket is about what I was expecting to have paid originally. Extremely expensive, but totally worth it.

I just did a price check on Star Wars Oytlaws Gold Edition....and I was under the impression that it would be 109.99+ tax inCAD....But according to the Ubisoft store it is 144.99 CAD! That is an absolutely INSANE price! That is the most expenaive title Ive ever seen outside of true Collector's Editions that are packaged with lithographs, artbooks and statues.
Now Im not sure I will be buying this game at all. 🥹😭

Overall it seems close to my expectations, which isn't a bad thing. But I still won't recommend it yet to non-Star Wars fans here.
I like the look of the game from the gameplay videos I have watched, the player character though puts me off and having just shelled out $159 AUD for AC Shadows it may have to go on the wishlist. I also have not played nay other Star Wars games so that makes me hesitate a bit as well. Shame as I'd have liked to have played it and got it done before Shadows.

I had no idea what this game was about until I saw the trailer linked above. I knew Ubisoft was making a Star Wars game but I did not know what it was about. Suffice to say I am now interested as long it's certain items or features are not locked behind a paywall. I will buy the game but not on release I will wait a year or two to buy on sale. I still have Fallen Order to play to get my Star Wars needs satisfied.

I like the look of the game from the gameplay videos I have watched, the player character though puts me off and having just shelled out $159 AUD for AC Shadows it may have to go on the wishlist. I also have not played nay other Star Wars games so that makes me hesitate a bit as well. Shame as I'd have liked to have played it and got it done before Shadows.  You skipped KOTOR? 
Guys, where did we put the tar and feathers? We have an impostor among us! 
Anyhow, Outlaws seems like your standard Ubisoft game mix - some Far Cry, some AC and a sprinkle of Tomb Raider for color. I am not expecting miracles from the gameplay loop, but it looks competent and varied. The fun part will probably be the fan service to Star Wars fans - locations, characters, references, easter eggs, etc. Definitely a game you should get on a sale if you are not a Star Wars fan.

I had no idea what this game was about until I saw the trailer linked above. I knew Ubisoft was making a Star Wars game but I did not know what it was about. Suffice to say I am now interested as long it's certain items or features are not locked behind a paywall. I will buy the game but not on release I will wait a year or two to buy on sale. I still have Fallen Order to play to get my Star Wars needs satisfied. Also - Jedi Survivor if you haven't played it yet. I plan to when I finish Fallen Order .

I am an OLD Star Wars fan in that i saw the original when I was 11 years old but they lost me when I was introduced to Jar Jar Binks. Game wise they just never appealed to me although I am contemplating playing the last two Jedi games released via Family Share on Steam. KOTOR I never even knew existed till I joined BSN but I just have a problem with older games in general and spending money on them in particular.

Game wise they just never appealed to me although I am contemplating playing the last two Jedi games released via Family Share on Steam. Both of those games have your favorite QTEs. Also quite a bit of traversal that requires proper timing on button smashes.
The first one has Dark Souls type combat. The second one has easier combat overall, but more precise platforming requirement. Playing them on M/KB can get frustrating, especially the 2nd one.
But if you can play them for free, definitively give it a shot. I liked Survivor more than Fallen Order.

Cheers for that, that is exactly why I haven't played them but people including my son who bought them did so I thought I'd try them. Now maybe not.

I remember now why even though being asked to play KOTOR I didn't as I just checked and I have to pay $159 AUD Annually for it or a monthly subscription of $30 AUD. Too rich for me.

SWTOR is the 2011 MMO from Bioware. Btw, you can play the free version of SWTOR as a single player game and it has a lot of story content still.
