It looks good. I hope I like the story and characters. I almost always do, so I'm optimistic.
It looks like they may have gone back enough to old school without losing the progress made in some of the later games.
Think it may be a bit of a learning curve at the start and maybe a bit hard to get used to but yeah if the story and characters are good it's going to be a good game.
In some of the parkour I got a bit of a Unity feel, did you Element Zero ?

Naoe gives me Sam Fischer (Splinter Cell) vibes hard, especially with her movements while sneaking. In terms of the Assassin role she plays, I'm really glad her movement tech looks very snappy and fluid. Not all too happy with her voice-lines - however - as they are a bit too cliched. She also sounds somewhat subdued. Hopefully, that becomes less of an issue throughout the playthrough.
I think Yasuke could be fun, but I think what will hamper his playstyle is the somewhat stiff combat that I saw in that trailer. I'm also not a fan of time slowing down after parrying, and I hope we can turn that off in the gameplay settings. Dudes definitely a powerhouse, and I'm glad they kept in the brutal executions.
Finally got around to watching the trailer. The gameplay look solid, and even the environments have gone up a notch. And they've always been solid that department.
Both playstyles are familiar and look good, though Shinobi-style... looks more fun. I like her speed too.

The animations are different from Unity, and it looks more snappy. Arno had the best parkour to date, but this looks quicker and more precise. I hope it's a good as it looks. I'd love to try parkour like this in a metropolis like Paris. It will be fun in Japan, but imagine it in some of the big cities we've experienced. Edo will be expansive, but not tall. Now I'm eager to see sneaking and parkour in nighttime Edo. 😄

The new trailer today was beautiful. It seemingly advertised another trailer at the end.
Wow a LOT better than the Dragon Age Veilguard trailer.
For me Veilguard is still a better trailer, for I got Deja-Vu with this one so it didn't make me interested in playing the game than it did before while I still have some interest to see where BioWare is going. It is just a symptom of having a yearly release I think.
With BioWare I think they are always in a no-win situation for a trailer like the one we got was a poor idea, but if they didn't have that kind of trailer people would have been complaining about not having a trailer with all the companions because they are an important part of the game. There was a 30sec "trailer" one of the devs posted on Twitter for Veilguard that I think was better than the companion trailer for me at least.

Good trailer. Waiting to stealth more than brute-killing

I like that some enemies can't be easily killed by a much smaller person with a wrist-mounted blade. The hidden blade streches believability as it is! I appreciate when games break up the ingrained gameplay loop in meaningful ways, making us think about what we are doing. When I get to the point that I can play on autopilot, I'm usually near to setting aside the game. Variety is good.
While I like how the combat looks, my Naoe will be a walking Smoke Bomb depository in the first run of the game. People will get the Classical conditioning of feeling flashbanged if they get even a glimpse of her.

Reminds me of The Division. I had an armour set that every kill would cause a Flashbang to go off, was totally awesome but of course it got nerfed.
