Davrin - Official Companion Thread [Spoilers]

In peace, Vigilance ! In war, Victory ! In death, Sacrifice !

Yeah baby, a Grey Warden as companion, something I was hoping for a long time ago ! A baby griffon as pet joining the Rook--ie team. Ô joy ! Since I’ve read the last flight, I was horrified by what happened to these fierce and loyal creatures. I’m so loving the fact that we are going to have one at our side, as a revenge on the past and a glimmer of hope for a better future, their fierce race surviving to the odds !

Dalish and monster hunter too as well. (What does it mean as a grey warden ?) Very interesting.

I have a good feeling about Davrin. I’ll keep an eye on him. I need solid men at my side, someone I can rely on. Haven’t got a male companion in my team since DAO with an hardened Alistair that had been my warden’s bro in every of my playthroughs. « We live together, we fight together. The last Grey Wardens in Ferelden, our order destroyed. We started together, we’ll end this together no matter what » Great theme, great Friendship every single time, that entertained me so much in the first episode, that I couldn’t escape.

Now, every poster I’ve seen about Davrin, gives me a good vibe, especially the screenshot in the lighthouse.

I really like the vibe, one of his hands holding the head of the darkspawn with confidence, ready to cut it off from the rest of his body, his face distorted with a certain arrogance.
He is ironically one of the companions we know next to nothing about with Taash, but one of those that got my attention.

However, I admit, all the guys seem very interesting, Emmerich, and Lucanis too. (loved Lucanis's introduction killing that poor guy in the companion trailer.) Maybe it’s rather one of them that will rather join my team once in the game lol. We shall see !

To be honest, I was a little afraid with the companion trailer, but the lighthouse pic from the game of the companions really gave me some confidence I could appreciate the vast majority of them.
