Help! - The Problem Solving Thread [Spoilers]

I hope everyone is having a great time playing!! I bought a physical copy of the game for the Xbox and it came with a promo code to redeem for the cosmetic armour and weapon sets. Everytime I try to redeem the code it says there's an error and to try again later. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem too.

I created my character and started playing. I later read apparently you are supposed to also create your inquisitor at the same time you create your Rook. I didn’t notice an inquisitor creator option. What am I
missing?

Okay… is there anyway to make a female character that doesn’t have the chest of a man? My elf is looking like a 12 year old boy no matter what I try.

I can get a good face, but the side profile with the whole body is just off for some reason.

I think part if it is the head size just always feels too big.

Is V-Sync on?  I remember having problems with CP2077 and Frame Generation wouldn't play nice with V-Sync.

V-sync was on and turning that off let me set my own frame rate cap which is nice, but still can't get frame generation on

It’s a pretty silly question, but how do you access your inventory? I want to equip my pre order gear lol.

I'm having an issue with abilities not firing after I close the ability wheel. It happened several times with Bellara's healing ability outside of combat, and numerous times with Rook's driving kick ability. I've only gotten the ability to work once outside of the tutorial fight. I know I had a target selected, and I did NOT see the "out of range" message, so I don't know why it didn't work.

Here is a video of it happening with Bellara's ability to use magical objects (very early game, soon after arriving at the veil jumper camp). I am hitting the spacebar to close the wheel, so I know I'm not cancelling the ability, and yet, nothing happens.

Am I just missing something really obvious?




Edit: someone on the DA Discord thinks they fixed this issue for themselves after swapping their Razer keyboard for another one. While I don't have a Razer keyboard (or mouse), I do have a Razer headset and some apps run in the background for that. I'll try shutting down those apps tomorrow and see if it helps. In the mean time, I'll happily take any other ideas you might have.


Edit again: Another person on the Discord said they had the same issue, and resetting their keybindings to default fixed it. So far, that is working for me as well.

I changed it to full-screen. No issues. I use Shadowplay, though.

Am I overlooking something, or is there really no quicksave?

Also, the character creator reset my outfit preset without my input. How can I change it once the game has started?

I have a RAzer KB and Mouse and have had no issues with it  - YET.
