Mac Walters answers 101 questions about Mass Effect Andromeda

I wouldn't have the heart for that, he seems like a really cool person alive, not some perverted monster I'd imagine him after ME3.

That was pretty amusing.

Companion's can't die?

That takes away some of the tension. Surprised they revealed that.

Not a bad thing, though, if they're considering continuing on with Ryder in another installment. To be honest, I'm fine with it. They can easily create tension and consequence in some other way. There are also plenty of ways to harm a character without killing them and have that serve as a significant and meaningful consequence to an action or as the result of an event. If done correctly, it create equally the same anount of worry and fear in the audience as the risk of the character dying could have.

Pretty funny and Mac Walters was a good sport to put up with it.

Some of the questions that stuck out to me:

Offline play supported.

No Reapers in Andromeda confirmed.

Communication with MW? Not in this game.

Crew members and companions cannot die.

Dialogue wheel questions:

1. Is this an open world game? (this is the one selected) YES
2. Anybody that's sexually attracted to Garrus is weird, right?
3. What's scarier: Banshees or Buzz Aldrin's acting?

Agreed on the last point. Fun format and Mac seems like a cool guy.

No trilogy confirmed.

I don't know if i am sad to not have a shepard experience-like (character importation, one of the top features in ME trilogy) or if it's a good thing to experience "other mass effect" games in the future.
Because they certainly will make more games, but not Mass Effect Andromeda 2.

I think this has to be the first Bioware game where the companions can't die.

There are things worse than dying tho.
For example, maybe some of your companions could betray you for other species interest.
Or you can lose a squadmate (MIA type).

Probably not. However, I'm pretty convinced your sibling and your father can die at the end. Maybe that's where we can have a Virmire situation and you have to decide if you save your brother or your father. In that case they should balance pretty well the two options.
