I remember that on old BSN there was a thread called "dumb things PUGs say" or something like that, it was a collection of links from other forums/sites with shitty gameplay tips and other dumb things that elitists like us would never say. Well, that thread would be a top candidate: this right now is the most liked post: How the hell can you trash disruptor ammo and tech bursts and say Cryo ammo are better?

I kinda get where he is coming from, I mean we all remember that one Paladin in a full biotic lobby constantly overriding BEs with his Tech Powers, but that doesn't make the Paladin or his powers shitty. It's imo not S-Tier, you can't beat what's essentially an exploit, but B-Tier? Absolutely, even A-Tier. Imho ofc.

When ark and I were going back and forth battling for the fastest ps3 DAI plat solo, I did a TON of runs (like, seriously, a shit ton of runs- maybe 100?) with both Incendiary IV and Disruptor IV, and I found that Disruptor actually gave me faster times. Granted that's against Cerberus who have tons of units with shields, but still the idea that Disruptor is one of the worst ammo types is just empirically and objective wrong. There's at least some situations- Venom DAI plat solos vs. Cerberus, if nothing else- where it is literally the best ammo type.

burningcherry I'm not sure what's going on there (because there is some pretty good stuff there, it's just really old at this point), but there have been really painful posts and some laughably bad advice in the advice threads lately. I try to answer with some sense, but end up shaking my head and clicking cancel.

If we go by their comments, these are the kinda people we would make fun of in the "Your last pug" thread. Also Incendiary/Broken weapon/BotB banner wearing w11 spawnnukers. Because they still got outscored by my puny Cryo Incisor wielding, sticky nade skipping QFI.
