spot on I had actually just had this happen to me 2 nights ago, just before I saw that silly thread- I had started a Gold game as a solo with the Fury, and eventually a Krentinel dropped in- they were using Disruptor, and spamming Incinerate. The chained combos were glorious, poor Cerbies never knew what hit them. Multiple combos > one Biotic Combo.

So I figured it was pointless getting dragged into an argument with apparent Dunning-Kruger types (the top comment, the guy who made the rage comment about never using Disruptor), but I did reply to the OP (the player asking for advice) with Sal's link and told him he should take the advice he was getting from the reddit posters with a grain of salt. Hopefully Sal will set him straight, and if not at least I can say I tried to help.

Cobra Missile Launcher looks right on 80% of characters. Their models are balanced as if they had a 5kg+ weight on their backs and without that weight but with the posture kept, they just look humpy. In particular, that goes for most asari classes.

Disciple is a really good shotgun. Its damage to weight ratio is solid and its the best in class for casters

The Armiger dodge is bad for regular use, it gets you exposed like "hey Phantoms, I'm here, shoot me" for like 2 seconds and it doesn't serve tactical repositioning but escapes.

I think my favourite dodge maneuver is the backwards-diagonal-roll. Humans and Volus can do it, for instance. It's just so handy to get away after you did something truly stupid, but it keeps you close enough to do it all over again.

Lag honestly fucks with me. It's not conducive to CQC and makes you really reflect on all the stupid ideas you just had that normally work out but in the light of reflective reasoning do not appear nearly as sound of mind. well this is more of a hard truth than an unpopular opinion, that Cerberus Phantoms are worthy enemies. And I do admit that I have a love hate relationship and many times, I am on my ass or witnessing another player on their ass because of the Cerberus Phantom.
