- more customisation - not only the way a character looks but also weapon modifications - more varied powers/abilities - maybe being able to choose what powers you want to add to your character - to correct the way some weapons were better on-host than off-host, hosting shouldn't make a difference to the way the weapon performs - mixing up the gameplay a little - maybe more varied waves & objectives ...just a few ideas

I wish to be able to play with my character. It would have been awesome if ME3MP let people play with there Shepards.

- Same armory style like in ME3. Unlocking weapons should take at least as long as in ME3, this can really help with the longevity of the multiplayer. unlocking ultrarares felt pretty rewarding.
I'm going to have to directly contradict you here. In fact, if I could only request one change for MEAMP, this would be it. Unlocking weapons should take half as long as in ME3. Players should not have to play 500-600+ hours to max their manifest (which seemed pretty standard going off posts by BSNers). That's just absurd. I've never played a single game that much in my life. (Including ME3. After 200 hours, I just played a couple of matches with crashsuit a year or two ago ) Point being, getting rare drops is fun, but grinding for an eternity for that rare drop and not getting to use the weapons or classes you want is not. I'm glad they're adding a store where you can just outright buy a rotating selection of items. I think they said that somewhere? - more customisation - not only the way a character looks but also weapon modifications - to correct the way some weapons were better on-host than off-host, hosting shouldn't make a difference to the way the weapon performs For the first point, didn't ME3MP already do this? MP used the same weapon mod system as SP. As for the second, it might be nice if they'd maintain dedicated servers. Then that and the host's bad internet connection wouldn't be an issue.

More than just a Horde mode. I know there wouldn't be PVP but a lot more modes would be fun. All the old characters will return in MP. Don't do what Gears are doing with their card system.

I'd like to see more diversity in the enemies really. As in ME3Mp all they did was shoot or melee you, I'd like to encounter enemies that will use tech & biotics too(& more than just what the Banshee did), I'd like to get caught in an enemy singularity, for example & have to mash a button, or get help from a squadmate to get me out, or a enemy tech that has the shield drain ability, different types of 'nades, I could go on, but you get the idea from this.
Just my opinion.

+1 for more power variety and the ability to make custom kits. I can understand why they might want to make some powers mutually exclusive so you can't make silly OP combinations, but for the most part it'd be nice to be able to make up your own build and see how it works out.
Some way of getting credit for progress during a match rather than only at the end would be nice, so rather than being given all the XP and credits after extraction you're granted them at intervals during a match. That would at least help alleviate the frustration of getting to wave 11 and then getting a disconnect.
One other thing I'd like to see is a pure survival mode i.e. the match doesn't have a fixed number of waves, they just keep coming until eventually you all die.

Considering they unified the SP and MP with Andromeda with the lack of possibility of using powers on pause, and that we'll likely be able to use more then 3 powers (DAI had 8 mappable powers), I think we'll surely get more then 3 powers per kit.

I would like it to be like the old one, including the 3 abilities only. Less is more, imo. I'd rather get my variety from the kits than from muscle memory.
But, no matter what, I just hope it will have the provisions for the bad players like me to still play and enjoy it. ME3mp is great that way with different enemies and bronze tier I am concerned about the premium abilities, or whatever they call it, so they will keep overpowering already good players that play it for many hours a day, leaving the bands and the casuals out of luck....

Some sort of ability to scrap/sell unwanted weapons in order to get weapons you want could be nice. Like dusting cards in Hearthstone. Probably balance it so that its fairly easy to do this to get the uncommons and even rares you're after, but ultra rares are still something you need to chase.
I don't think they should be too aggressive about nerfing everything that gets popular. There's a risk of just making everything bland.

More customization, more mods, more weapons, more kits. I like the idea of ennemies throwing singularities, or other powers at us. Variety in maps (but not randomly generated maps), lethal level design (falling off a cliff...), destructible covers. I hope the Ketts faction will sick their four-legged creatures/pets on us. No more on/off host non-sense for projectile weapons and vanguards. 60 fps for PC. No technical bugs (unless I can shot at them). Emotes and banter.
Mainly, I wish we were already in december, and we could have a good look at MEAMP gameplay, so that I know if pre-ordering is worth it for me.

Excellent taste. Also: The different kits had flavour and (mostly) character. Free for all customization is just gonna hurt the longevity (unless you hide the skills behind unlocks). What I hope for is that they don't ruin the game with a buff system where you can accumulate stat boni upon promotion. That made DAIMP trivial and pretty much sucked the fun out of it.

Different kits also give you different characters/species, not just abilities. Both the ability unlocks and the bonus powers are parts of the gaming set-ups that essentially create sieves that keep making more and more players irrelevant, eroding the player base.
What impressed me the most about the ME3MP, four years after the game release, was its popularity and ease of getting into as a newb/noob. IMO, that's rare in the industry, and the cornerstones that enable me to pug a game at any time of the day (literally) in less than 5 minutes, again, 4 years after release, with every kind of games available on the market... darn, that's worth replicating instead of doing what everyone else is doing... and getting 4-6 months games out of it over-played and over-exploited by the same tiny percentage of the playerbase at the expense of the enjoyment and, subsequently, participation by the rest.

i agree with this post Other than that, i played a few rounds the last 3 days and it surprised me that you still find games with ease and fast on every difficulty level. when i was bored over the last few years, i started to play a few MP rounds in ME3 and it never had problems of finding servers (unlike dragon age: inquisition for example). Also the 3 different kits / characters added some diversity gameplay-wise, so its a good choice if they keep that imho. And it forced you to work to gether and watch your teammates actions, for example if they setup enemies with warp you could detonate it. Multiplayer should be teamplay and not 4 people that can solo everything but stay in group for more experience . maybe they can add 1-2 custom class slots for people who like to setup their own character with custom powers. i would be ok with that, but some unique character kits should have powers that cant be used in custom kits, otherwise people would only play their own customized chars and/or find an OP build. And the point of multiplayer difficulty was that you dont have 4 shepards that can wreck all waves of enemies with ease

I've always liked the 3 power limit irrespective of platform because it creates dependency, perfectly translates to highly differentiated character cards and hence incentivises sharing and makes each encounter more unpredictable. If I had 5 active powers why would I bother coordinating with other players to create combos that I can perform myself?

I agree with keeping the kits' power usage limited in order to maintain diversity. I know that lots of people are requesting to have the entirety of the power pool be available for all characters but that would ultimately result in the watering down of the various characters and aliens into simple texture swaps. If I choose to go into battle as a Salarian alongside a Krogan, I would like for our kits to feel and play differently.
That being said, I don't want BioWare to use the limited power choices as an excuse to just give us existing character models with a few powers switched around. I want to see unique additions to the roster, brand new mechanics explored that help liven up the game. As much as I disliked the DAMP gameplay, I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the Virtuoso character and the very unique 'song' mechanic he brought to the table. I want to see more of that, maybe a Hanar medic kit that can hover around the map and avoid danger, and strangle isolated enemies, or a Rachni brood warrior using only melee and biotic attacks etc. The possibilities are far too great to just throw in another human solider with slightly different colored armor and one new power.
To contrast the limited power usage, I would love to see increased customization options for the various characters. Skin color, face paint, tattoos, swappable armor pieces, helmets on/off, etc. I would also really like it if the customization of our armor would also tie into our characters' stats and how we are deciding to play. If my buddy is going into battle as a Krogan Soldier, fitted with massive armor plates and heavy duty shield generators, I would expect him to be far tankier (albeit slower) than my other teammate who is decking his Krogan Soldier out with lightweight, high mobility armor. Basically, allow the various kits to function differently, despite each having a limited power set.
Varied mission types would be most appreciated as well. I enjoy the standard horde "Hold your ground!" formula, but a little something to mix things up would be fun to play. Maybe something along the lines of your Left 4 Dead or Vermintide? Essentially a mobile horde mode though a linear level, complete with unique objectives and narrative points; although the Vaults mentioned in the leak sound similar to this.

What I've been saying since ME3 MP support ended: Add fucking servers and stop the P2P system. Seriously that P2P it's aids an cancer unified. Surely with the microtran$actions the game will have (duh) they can afford having actual servers so the "host + 3 lagged as fuck clients" situation doesn't repeat itself once more. Of course, it'll be too much to ask probably, but here's hoping they'd consider it. No more RNG store. Too fucking late apparently, since it was confirmed that it still exists. Some things never change, right? Was it so hard to implement a challenge/progression system to unlock the items? apparently it was.
For the rest, everyone's guess is as good as mine. We all know more or less what we want with deeper customization, bigger maps and so on and so forth.
One good thing I'm gonna say is that they seem to plan to maintain the free DLC for the MP which is extremely welcome and I thank them for that, even if it's more a marketing decision rather than they being kind with us (paid DLC means breaking and dividing the MP community which translates in less people playing).
