Most of what I saw, heard and read since yesterday seems to be really cool. "Super bosses" that you can't beat at certain stages in the game is the exact opposite. Absolutely hate this. If a boss shouldn't be beat early in the game, don't make the encounter available at that point. So I'm a bit worried about this.
IMO super bosses should be placed at the end of epic missions, not be some random encounters you can beat when you have leveled up enough.

They're the ones that maintain the ship. You could call it their mission.

"Went off on her own after arriving on the Nexus and described as having a "bubbly personality". She's smart and not concerned with social norms and "niceties". I don't have an issue with a character like the one described, I just hope it's not a Sera clone. By far my least favourite Bioware companion and probably one of my least favourite characters in any of their games. Even before N7 I was worried that PeeBee might be an attempt to be ME's version of Sera -- which is to say, a polarizing character that people either love or hate -- and now I'm even more worried. I'm in the love camp and I would hate to see that legacy ruined by a poor imitation. Part of Sera's charm was that she was uneducated, exclusive of street smarts. If PeeBee is smart/educated, that cancels out a whole branch of humor-at-Sera's-expense. A good part of banter with Sera is making fun of dumb things she says, where she doesn't even realize it's dumb. I don't know that smart works with unconcerned with niceties. That makes me think of someone on the autism spectrum, but if she's also supposed to be a comedic character, that's going to be a problem.

Here's some posts from Shinobi on gaf: Glad to hear that. I liked Saren and the way encounters with him went down. I wonder if this means the Khett leader will be a mix of battle and dialogue as well. If it is him narrating for a part of the trailer then he sounds like an interesting fellow.

Sera grew on me. My quizzie didn't like her but fun character! Who had surprisingly observant/smart things to say sometimes. I didn't hate any of the characters. Blackwall was my least favorite simply because he was kind of boring to talk to.
Polarizing characters are good characters. What you don't want is somebody everybody is meh about... like Jacob.

Here's some posts from Shinobi on gaf: I hope it's more along the lines of ME3 than ME2 because ME2 was mostly color swap from what I remember with the outfit basically remaining the same otherwise. I also hope the outfits will be avaliable early on.

I wasn't fond of Sera to be honest but it was due to her personality and not the quality of the writing so to speak. She was simply the kind of person that I don't like to be around and personally dislike: one of the reasons being that I'm not fond of people who don't take other people's feelings into consideration or outright disregards them for their amusement. An example is how Sera pranks people that don't like it and whom she knows don't like it.

The main concern I have is that "squadmates must now be with you to finish missions". I don't entirely know what that means, but it sounds like you need squadmates to counter the enemy using their abilities and powers. But its always been that way.

I'm not sure how I feel about the combat changes. It might be good, it might be bad, it might be awful, it might be wonderful. It is the kind of thing where I feel I need to see it in action and experience it myself before I decide what I think about it. Yes! I really NEED to see gameplay footage. While I do appreciate not having to pause all the time after playing MP for 250 hours, I don't like the idea that this is completely gone. Also kind of worried about not being able to give squaddies direct orders. You could very well breeze through ME3 as an adept spamming warp/throw yourself over and over or charge/nova everything to death. But how am I supposed to sync with another biotic that way? I want a badass biotic duo like Shep and Liara were. Prime me, baby!

I'm not worried at all about the removal of the combat wheel in single player, I stopped using that after spending hours and hours in ME3MP. As long as the AI does a decent job of controlling the squaddies and some tactics can be set, I'm fine with the devs ditching the wheel. I found it actually makes combat a lot more enjoyable for me. See, that was probably the most disappointing thing in this info for me. It wasn't unexpected, given the switch to a tac cam system in DAI, but they made a big statement about keeping the things that make mass effect mass effect. I think the ME power wheel is iconic and I'm sad to see it go.

I play at the casual-level of difficulty because I'm not a good shooter at higher levels, and I'd rather think my way through a problem then to shoot my way through it and become overwhelmed into frustration. I'm not one for excessive combat even though I've learned how to shoot well enough. Hopefully the discovery and wandering 'features' will be enticing enough so that I don't feel like I'm spending a lot of (my valuable) time being lost. I've been hoping for multiple COVERT movement/pathway options that allow us to take optional routes around the main areas of combat, rather than always being forced to barrel one's way through the center of the festivities. I'd like to circle around and attack from the enemy's rear or blind side and take out security guards one-by-one - while the main force doesn't see what's happening. Perhaps even snipe from a concealed spot where the enemy (the game AI allows for this) cannot tell where the shots are coming from, then slip away. I'm doing this already to a minor degree. I noticed Drake in the Uncharted series can at times one circle around a group of baddies and wait for certain guards to turn their backs, then can run up behind another guard, dispatch them quickly, and get away without being seen. Very cool. I hate being shot at. If the news that caches can be forward deployed is to be believed, I'm all for it. I hope it will also mean that we and our squadmates can have time to camp for a little while and have some deep-and-meaningful conversations, and learn more about each others backgrounds (romance development opportunities!). From everything I've seen and read about Andromeda so far, I'm really looking forward to playing it. There are some great comments being made in this forum, and it's why I read the threads here every day.

*Snip* From what I'm told, you can pause and switch weapons or use consumable items but powers are now in real time. Oh hell no, this had better not be true. It would be the first BW game ever where you couldn't pause to direct your PC and/or squaddies to use abilities. I hope all it means is that the system will be like DAI where all (8) of your powers are hot keyed so that you don't need to pause to use them if you don't want to. The GI article did say that powers could be queued. If you genuinely can't pause to select powers at all then that is the first thing I have read which would actually make me consider not buying this game. I can deal with a bit of lore bending around how we get to Andromeda but I really don't want a third person COD with biotics.

Might be that they are expanding on some of the mission aspects seen in Mass Effect 3 or doing something similar.
Example: on Rannoch, you assigned one squadmate to do something with a tower or something while you and the other kept the enemy at bay.
I cannot see them deciding to make it so that all missions require a specific squadmate since they'd know that it would be at a ranging cost to a lot of player's enjoyment. I can see it for a few missions but nowhere near all.
