Point being, it's all just subjective opinion. Nah, it's objectively bad and claims to the contrary are factually wrong. I'm not a fan of short hair on females but I can live with it in certain styles and if it suits the facial features of the woman wearing it. In some cases, short hair suits them even better than long hair. But shaved heads are a dealbreaker and this partially shaved crap needs to be flayed and burned alive. Besides that I genuinely think it doesn't suit her face and while I may find the rest of her decently attractive the stupid do is actually ruining it for me. Yeah we'll see what she's like but she'll have to compensate for that damn hair pretty hard.

While I do like she's the second in command as Miranda, I don't really want a clone of her (although she is my favorite female squadmate in the trilogy) or other characters' clones. Granted, if Cora has to be a 'clone' personality wise I'd prefer Miranda over the other, but I want her to be a different character.
Miranda's biotics, anyway, are pretty good for a human. It's not fair to compare her to a matriarch or a human who was worked on to unleash her full biotic potential.

Biotic God (on par with commandos) > slight biotics that fail when you need them most (May be over exaggerating a bit ) Professional demeanor applies to many squadmates over the games, so that's not a Miranda specific thing. That's not overexaggerating, that's flat out wrong. When have Miranda's biotics ever failed? Did you put her on the bubble? Sorry if she's not the equivalent of a thousand year old justicar matriach or a Starkiller-esque psycho engineered by mad (comic book) science. She was engineered by mad (comic book) science, but for a more balanced purpose and her biotics are impressive for a human who hasn't been experimented on. There is no indication Cora is at asari level either and frankly without yet another mad (comic book) science backstory I don't see how she could be. Most squadmates aren't immediately noted for it or other traits eclipse it.

Kai Leng is among the best close combat humans in the trilogy, if not the best. Regardless of his portrayal in ME3, his abilities aren't really in question.

Blasphemy! Current similarities are: 2IC position, biotics, super professional demeanor, alleged connection to TIM. I'm with you on that last one though, not sure why that'd be a thing. Just having it as a reference to the trilogy doesn't do much for me. Biotic God (on par with commandos) > slight biotics that fail when you need them most (May be over exaggerating a bit ) Professional demeanor applies to many squadmates over the games, so that's not a Miranda specific thing. I'll give you second in command. Idk, I'll just be disappointed if she's Miranda 2.0. If Cora is the Illusive Man's daughter, like Miranda, she might have some Daddy issues. But going on a one way trip to Andromeda might be her way of dealing with the issues, permanently.

On her right it's short then buzzed by her ear. Unacceptable. Well, short hairs often are buzzed near the ear. Overall it's just short hair. Fair enough on your opinion. I hope her personality will overcome any doubts on her hairstyle.

Nope, that is wrong. I have absolutely no issue with other people enjoying it. But can you understand why it would appear that way to others? It's not just that you root for a chaste relationship, it's that you express hopes against the occurrence of possible sexual encounters or characters. Like in that promiscuous dwarf LI thread, for example, when someone wished for a flirty dwarf, and you persistently replied about how fervently you hoped against it. For the most part, no one minds you wishing for something different. It's when you execrate what others hope for that it begins to seem petty. No, I cannot actually. I don't understand how my expressing my dislike for a thing means I have issues with those who like said thing considering I have never once said that. With Cora here, I have expressed this opinion twice before you jumped on me like this. Really only once in detail and the other just a single post of disappointment. The only one execrating people here is you and a few others.

She got her big bubbly butt kicked by a guy with a sword. With plot armor that almost matches Liara's. Wonder how many times he had to run and "recharge" I am of the opinion that Miranda should have defeated Kai Leng. It was always sort of built up I felt these two having a showdown, in the comics as well, and the idea of Miranda being beaten by Leng, whose reputation didn't carry across into the actual game, was just another way that stupid space ninja brought the game down to the pits of shit he lives in.

I'm absolutely loving Cora here ( and she is pretty ) : She has such a mysterious vibe ! Maybe in private she could be really casual for example. I'd love that. Just look at her hand on Scott's chest, her frank smile. And there, I drooled. Scott being a confident man, and being confident with her, touching her shoulder, to encourage her. I loved that scene. The fact that Scott wouldn't hesitate to do something like that with a woman probably older than him is cool ! Oh, yeah I felt truly something in the trailer watching this. I thought " I cannot wait to witness what will be their relationship and how it will evolve =) Everything we learned about Cora so far appealed to me. As for her hairstyle, it totally fits her military background, and at least her hairstyle doesn't look like anything we have seen before. Cannot wait to learn more !

We'll see what happens with her in game. My fingers will be crossed for the least similarities to Miranda as possible.

So the thorough boning of any lesbians who don't prefer femmes continues apace, then? I didn't get what you mean. If Cora's straight, which seems likely, the hair makes me rather suspect that she'll also be one of the designated "masculine" female characters, which are perpetually gated off from being romanceable by women for reasons inexplicable.

On an unrelated note, I'm glad that in the second pic Scott doesn't appear as slim as in others pics. Still hoping for body types, but at least it'd better then I though if there aren't.

Understood, although I don't think her hairs means she's 'masculine'. There's still Vetra that might fit that stereotype in any case.

I honestly don't quite understand where she appears masculine...yes she appears a dominant and direct personality but that doesn't automatically qualify as masculine. In truth she looks quite feminine in the way she cares about her appearance and confident in her so to say "sexual" appeal.I guess people are scared by a woman who has some fire in her.

Oh get over yourself, you sound like someone buzzed YOUR head That would've been prefereable. My hair would grow back. Hers won't. It'll be like that. Forever Or at least until the modders do their job. I am of the opinion that Miranda should have defeated Kai Leng. It was always sort of built up I felt these two having a showdown, in the comics as well, and the idea of Miranda being beaten by Leng, whose reputation didn't carry across into the actual game, was just another way that stupid space ninja brought the game down to the pits of shit he lives in. I know what you mean. But it was an ambush and I doubt he was so sporting as to face her one on one. Probably had his phantom bitch squad too. If it wasn't underground, I'm sure his trusty gunship would've been there too.. If the overall cut was the only problem... That almost white blonde + pastel make up is also not good. Well unless you want to look 20 years older than you are. That poor poor virtual lady. The color's fine. And I'm not sure where the age complaints are coming from. She seems the average age of video game protagonists and ME characters as well. They failed when she, herself said that she could do it. That's what I was referring to. I put Cora on asari level because they said she was stationed with an asari commando unit (and she's a biotic) just to poke more at Miranda. It's all in good fun. That's at best an over estimation of her abilities, not a failure of said abilities. Also

I'd be perfectly willing to trade Cora off to the lesbian romances if we can get a re-roll on romances, maybe get a more traditionally feminine one

There's a redhead at the end of the cinematic trailer, maybe she's a crewmate and LI.
