Peebee (Official Thread)

Here's hoping we can play an open-minded, self-reliant, unconventional character then! (And asymmetry, huh?... PeeBee crush on Cora's hair confirmed!?   ) Not because I want to attract PeeBee (I'm all about her friendship, but not her romance) but because I really want to play that kind of character! Particularly the unconventional part. I'd love to roleplay a protagonist who's a little out there or weird!

Huh.  I think me and PeeBee would get along swimmingly in real life haha.

Depends on how stubborn she is, I guess. I can be pretty stubborn myself so we may but heads. Otherwise, how she has been described seems pretty ideal. Open-minded is probably the most important characteristic. I remember being so disappointed in Ashley in ME1 for how she just... wasn't. It's why I never really romanced her beyond the first game.

Yeah, I'm wanting to have a smartass nerd with my Ryder (like a Nathan Drake meets Captain Kirk with a little Peter Parker), so I feel like he and Peebee will probably get along swimmingly.

Yea, Jaal fans at least deserve a screenshot and they don't seem to have any problems with just having that (and a few seconds showcase in a trailer) 

As for meeting her, I recall one of the devs being asked about her personality, and they actually pointed out that when we first meet her she runs into us (literally, as in tackle). He didn't say if it was accidental or not though, it was just a comment he made when he was talking about her "bubbly" personality. Makes me curious, maybe we go somewhere where she's running from something and we got in the way 
I can imagine it being one of those cheesy moments where we both get knocked over and she makes some flirty response about being on top of us.   

I'm honestly not sure if Ryder will be the first one to flirt/start towards the romance, or if Peebee would make the first move. We've seen cases where a squad member (Tali) shows the first signs of attraction. Her joining us for remnant tech makes me think we'll have to say or do something that gets her interest, but in her bio it was said she was willing to flirt if necessary to join the AI, and that she's highly likely to be our fun/adventurous squad mate in the group.

Edit: As for being the first alien squadmate, I posted something in another thread where I feel like the order they are being released could hint towards the order we recruit the squad.
So far we got in order: Liam/Cora, PeeBee.

My first thought when I heard about the tackle was that it was a protective move - as in, get down, hide, take cover, you're about to be attacked.



I get the feeling that PeeBee is the sort who goes after what she wants. She certainly doesn't seem to be at all risk-averse, so I'd kind of expect her to let Ryder know she is attracted.

Sure, it's from the second trailer so I imagine the two or three people from tumblr with the same gifs wouldn't mind .

Yea, I'm expecting a lot of good times with PeeBee, friend or romance. I usually take characters like her around for the great banter. And I could definitely see that dinking and dancing part: Ryder and PeeBee flailing around not knowing what they're doing. I might just play a more reserved/shy Scott just to see how pushy she can be. The nexus has a nice club so maybe we can hang out there with her. Now you got me thinking the club will be her main spot 
If there are any dancers especially Asari ones I'm gonna be on the floor laughing if she starts calling them out and cracking a few one liners at them.

I can also see her hanging out in the tech labs of the nexus as well since she's got a bit of a nerdy side as well though hopefully not drunk (ok i lied not hopefully I want to see a drunk Peebee going crazy in a tech lab ).


And I don't know if this would be something Neil would do, but it would be awesome if he started a fun facts about PeeBee twitter thing where he gives any random fact about PeeBee each day until release. It can be answers to things like:
Does PeeBee like to drink? Why does PeeBee like to wear so many straps especially those across her waist? Why does PeeBee wear a purple jacket, is it her favorite color? What would peeBee do if she had a piece of string, a pecan, and some glue?

Just saw Vetra's bio, here's her desciption:

I'm definitely seeing an interesting friendship between them. Maybe Vetra will be like an older sister that keeps telling PeeBee "You shouldn't do that" and PeeBee saying something like "Who cares what I shouldn't do. it's fun!"

Like I said in the vetra thread, Sean deleted his tweet and replaced it with "Voila!" instead.
Starting to look even more likely Vetra and peeBee will only at most be like sisters  (though they could pull a tali and garrus I doubt it would happen in the first game, but i personally want them to be just friends or it would remind people too much of Aria/Nyreen)

This would be sooo funny lol. I sincerly wish this is in the game or atleast something similar to this. And I can totally see the club as her main spot. For how she is, I think she'd be bothering the bartender all the time, always trying to drink some unknown alien stuff to then get sick most of the times because of it 
The tech labs will certainly be one of the places where we can find her, I guess. I can already see a nerdy drunk PeeBee going crazy over there   Of course, not drunk all the time. Just a couple of time  (Might seem like we want an alcoholic LI lol)

About Neil, that's a great idea. It would be cool to get something to talk about each day. If you want, I could try to ask him. Your questions are very interesting. I wish he could answer to them.
