Are people still concerned about Peebee being a romance option for F!Ryder? Everything we've heard about her would suggest she is. The most convincing reasons being:
1. She is an Asari... if she were a romance options at all, and we know she is, she'd most likely be for both.
2. The confirmed fact she had a girlfriend in the past.
3. The leaked information from a while ago where someone got to see an actual romance scene between her and F!Ryder.
It's a very very very... very safe bet she'll be available for F!Ryders. I'm more concerned about the depth of the romance. She might be one of the ones that are mostly casual and very physically based. Which I find about as uninteresting as the entirely sexless ones. And male Ryder proof: 1. main blue space babe
2. Tackling scene in lexi vid was obiously pointing to potential attraction between the two (fem ryder will of course get the same scene) and was inserted into the video to get a certain reaction
3. Heavily supported leaked information
4. Asari
5. Neil confirmed her to be open-minded both makes sense As for depth I really hope it's not so casual. Hope it gets a bit more serious as it progresses. |

I am rather curious to see what her escape pod looks like. I bet she customized it to the degree that it can no longer be used for its original purpose. Too much clutter and deco so that nobody fits in there anymore- except herself, of course (and maybe Ryder  ). How big is such an escape pod supposed to be, anyway? The things you could see at the beginning of ME2 weren't all that big. Well, the ones we have seen can fit about a half dozen people. The Tempest probably has two escape pods then knowing the size of the crew, and one article mentioned it's not just the escape pod but the area you can access to escape pod she made into her quarters. So overall I suspect her place will have as much space as Jack in ME2. I didn't read this article, I only knew about it from this thread. So she is also blocking the way to the escape pods with her stuff? That's even better. I hope Ryder doesn't have to tell her to tidy up like you would a stubborn teenager, just to keep the escape routes free.  |

The tackling scene is especially funny, when you consider that some people accidentally romanced Liara just by choosing friendly reply options and she was called too pushy because of this. It's like Bioware wa nted to say: "Liara wasn't pushy, this is how a pushy Asari looks like!"  Seriously, I don't think that's Peebee idea of flirting, more likely she was trying to save Ryder, but the way she lands on him... subtlety seems not to be Bioware's forte. I put on my Sherlock hat&glasses and I think I pieced together what's happening here. Everyone remembers her first appearance. It's the same smirk and then a gun appears. At the end of the video (2:39) we can see more of this scene. It's the raw models but I guess the other 2 characters are Cora and Drack. So the team arrives at a remnant site (hint green octopus thingy in the back), PB escapes from there, bumps into Ryder. Love at first sight, mutual "oh, hi there" but the squad is like "whoa, hands in the air". Repost. So yeah, +1. It was Drack's blade attachment (thanks for the picture!), not a gun. This is a simple character introduction scene. Although in the GE trailer she's on the bridge too so. But maybe that happens later? I don't know. Anyhow, this feels like a 'personality demo'. She's bubbly all right.  As for romance; a Scott only romance would have been interesting. Defy fan expectations, rebel against asari culture and biology. But rest assured, she's the asari poster girl, of course she'll be available for both Ryders.  |

The girl seemed to have dumped PeeBee. Her race is unknown, but Peebs said she was rejected. If I were to wager a guess: the ex couldn't take Peebee's drive and jumping head first into danger. To Peebee, it felt like rejection, but to the ex, it was her belief that breaking up with the asari would be far less painful than seeing her killed. |

There's isn't a human on the planet who's completly uninterested in any gender of other humans and that's essentially what Asari-male-human exclusive romance would be. Female humans are what their entire species looks like, it's not unplausible she would be interested in something else too (male humans, Krogans, Hanars, Remnants etc) but to have zero drive for her own species?

Ardat-Yakshi would mean that the relationship with Peebee would be rather chaste which would 1) contradict her flirty nature and 2) be not at all fun. |
