It really depends if Scott Ryder is the one from the gameplay footage we say at the Playstation event then nope I'm going to have my custom made Rydude, however if he is the one we saw on the N7 trailer then yup. I'm going to play it with the default face and that's a first for me.
They look like two totally different person.

If I make a male playthrough (which now seems unlikely, but after all end up doin two with Sheploo) i'm definitely using the default |

That said, it may be different here because even if I played as FemRyder, BroRyder would still be out there, so I'd probably still be okay knowing "I'm" there somewhere. |

Scott's hair actually doens't look awful here, but it's the usual bore-fest they fed us throughout the trilogy. It made sense then because Shep was a soldier, but Ryder isn't. |

Not the NPC. So no, they're not different characters, they're the same as Shepard in that sense. At least, as far as I can tell from the info so far. I hope. If the NPC versions are different, it would make sense to have a thread for each, but like I said, it seems like these threads are about the protagonist versions. |

I know this sounds odd but one thing I always regretted was not getting into the default male Shepard. There was all this beautiful artwork of Shepard + Kaidan and I could not enjoy it as much because I always had a custom male character.
I think this time I'm just going to use the default (with minor tweaks if possible), at least for my first playthrough". He honestly looks pretty good.
