Scott Ryder 'BroRyder' (Official Thread)

I don't see these whole personality shifts that others are seeing based on the little bit of background information we got in the last trailer. Both Ryders were assigned to guard duty, one was guarding a space station, the other a science facility. There is nothing in that, that says anything at all about the characters personality.

People seem to be making a massive deal out of nothing. But then again everybody jumped to the conclusion that Ryder(male) was going to be a nerd/geek based on some video with the voice actors because one actor teased the other one a bit.

This is a BioWare RPG, and yes while in recent years they've decided to run with some auto dialogue in places where it doesn't belong, at the end of the day they've not taken our character completely away from us, and they're not going to start now.

That's a facial expression that changes the facd a bit.
Thet did change him though, made him look more similar to his face model, you can see it in the group shot in the trailer.

Good. Scott not as sweet boy, seems rather aggressive/madman

I'm afraid bioware has noticed too many internet trolls saying scott looks like a "beta cuck" and thus has changed him to look more tough and aggressive  . Too bad, I liked when he looked like a "good boy".

Now: "good boy"... as Dexter.
Don't worry, probably this is a technical problem, I hope. I like sarcastic/agressive playstyle, not Smiling Chainsaw Murderer(TM) ...

Yea let's hope they learned from some of the awkward face animations in Inquistion.  
No matter what male Hawke face I had, in the first scene his face would get scrunched up.

meh. I have faith in bioware that their final iteration of Scott will look the best out of everything shown so far. But it is pretty hard to beat this iteration of him looking into the distance. 

Looks like they changed his eye colour.

I personally think he looks fine the way he is now. Heck, I might actually just use his face, unlike with Sheploo.

He looks like what Captain Kirk and Starlord would look like, if you mixed both faces together and made them a video game character

I personally have not observed any changes in his face, or at least nothing significant enough for me to notice. I do hope we can at least change the default models skintone/hair/eye colour if nothing else. Same goes for Sara. Though they're default models are rather attractive, even cute.

Also of note, any here play Dark Souls/Bloodborne? Awkward character editor aside from one major feature. You can save the faces you make. No need to write down a code, or memorize the sliders. Just save it, and your done. Such a simple feature that has saved me soooo much time.

I'll customize him anyway because I doubt his face his going to look vastly better then the custom ones, and DAI shown a good CC, outside hairstyles.
