I've definitely decided I'm going with the default on my first playthrough, which will be a first for a BioWare game. People have been saying that Scott looks different here:  ...than he does in the earlier 4K demo footage, but if you look closely at the above image, you can see that for a split second he is shown in profile, then he turns and gives the camera that intense look. But his profile for that split second looks pretty much identical to his appearance in the 4K demo:  So maybe it's just the lighting that makes him look different? I only mention this because I like the way he looks in both. And those ears! IDC what anyone says about his ears, I think they are cute AF. I think the bottom picture makes him look older. And the corners of his mouth are different. He definitely looks older than Sara in the second picture, even a bit in the top one. I really hope the first one is the more accurate depiction because I love that picture. |

Man, I hope he's as good looking in the game as he is in that picture. I love the idea of making my male PCs pretty boys, but I'm so bad at it. Women's faces are easy, but my guys always look like zombies or something by the time I give up and choose a preset.

Like with Shepard... his age was predetermined and yet you could make him look 100 years old... wtf. With the Ryder siblings is the same. Since their age is "early twenties" or 25-ish (if I remember correctly) I better be able to make them look young and options like wrinkles and whatnot should not even be present in the CC.

Considering that it seems this time the CC won't be worse then the default face (based on the presets being scans as well), I won't have problems going for the CC, compared to the trilogy.
Also, it seems the work on the defaults aren't finished because while similar, I wouldn't say the model and Scott's face are exactly the same.

I'm only going to use the default on my 1st playthrough really, just so I'm not permanently turned off from him once I create the perfect Ryder.
I posted this before but one thing I regret about the ME trilogy was that I never got into the default Shepard. All the fan art used him though so I could never relate to them as much.

Also, he's going to be my brother I don't like the guy either, but I liked Scott in the last trailer a lot, and yes, BROTHER, it coud be so wrong if I don't get fast the sibling-feeling , I hope as soon as he opens his mouth he tells sara something "brother-ish" enough to insta-kill every possible sex-appeal Or at least that there's someone hotter than him around... what's the point in making super hot brothers and sisters, really? |
