Sara Ryder 'SisRyder' (Official Thread)

I wouldn't say cocky sarcastic maybe using a bit of humour to the situation a bit like what Hawke does sometimes in DA2 I'd say. Like when Hawke and Varric walk up to Sebastian and Elthina talking about Flint company in this scene. 




But that's the kind of humour I like most about Hawke and I kind of get that vibe from Sara in that scene as well. Especially as in that scene where she says "a hot head great" she asys it in such a way as if to indicate in a humourous way to say" that's all I bleeping need" So if that is how her personality is then I think I'm going to like playing her.

Or in Act 3 when taking on Huon a rogue mage Meredith was after Hawke says I'd like to go 1 week without meeting an insane mage just 1 week. It's moments like that that make me keep coming back to DA2 because the humour in the game is top notch even if the story itself could have used more work.

While playing ME3 again, I have to wonder what the Mass Effect team's fascination with the name Sarah is about. Ashley has a sister named Sarah that she talks about much more than the others and eventually is the only one ever seen in person. There is a minor character named Sara talking to Rupe Elkoss on the Citadel in ME3. And now we have the female Ryder. Then in Dragon Age Inquisition we have a companion named Sera. I think it is the most used name in Bioware games. 

Sarah and its deviations means "lady, princess, noblewoman" in most cases. I don't know where it means "maiden".

What are you talking about? I've seen many active soldiers who have lithe builds so it makes perfect sense.

This last video with Scott and Frida got my hopes up for liking Sara, a lot I just hope it's true there's lots of sarcastic/humorous lines as she said

I have as well.  Over half of my platoon were like that. I don't see what the problem is.

Well we did hear one in that last trailer when she said A hot head great. But I agree I think I'm going to enjoy playing Sara a lot too. I've always enjoyed a bit of sarcastic humour and it's one of the reasons why I like playing DA2 a lot too even though it has a weak story as I just love Hawke's and Varric's sense of humour in that game. Most of my favourite comedies on TV like Only fools and Horses have a lot of that kind of humour as well.

well, we got sara's face model too (twitter thread), and she's gorgeous too! I'm a little lost though, I don't know which conspiracy theory proves this? Because sure this proves one, right?

I can see some resemblance, but the eyes look off.
