SisRyder will be my first playthrough. I'll mess around with the character creator a bit, but the default face seems pretty good from what we've seen so far so if I can't make something I like, no big deal.

Seeing that side by side in the OP is pretty cool - obviously her design was largely inspired by the look of her VA. I'll definitely be playing sisRyder first. And for every playthrough after, most likely (I always tell myself I'll do a male protag playthrough eventually with games that have options but never end up doing it). Hopefully they let us edit the default this time around, as I quite like her, but would prefer to make a few tweaks to make her my own.

God I hope so, Bioware I love you but saying the marketing will feature both equally is getting veeeery hard to believe with my 10 second CGI and one screenshot. I mean even in that first E3 vid all the gameplay was with Scott also. I was rather deflated when I saw the N7 day trailer and it focused on Scott. Again. *sobs*
That being said she looks very good, a massive step up from the afterthought that was Femsheps face. And I'm so hype for Fryda to blow me away. I listened to some of her portfolio on her website and hot dang I'm so excited. I love her already SHOW ME MORE BIOWARE |

One of the devs when asked about that said they will be swapping male and female with each showing/trailer. So since the Playstation thing and N7 Day trailer showed Scott, perhaps the VGA gameplay and probably trailer will have Sarah. |

What if they randomize which gender is default? They've talked about this before, presenting either the male or the female as default chosen randomly for each playthrough. This would also reduce the inherent bias the existence of the default has on gameplay statistics. If they genuinely want to know how many players choose each gender, they need to remove the bias produced by having a default. Randomization does that. |

If I play SisRyder, I will not be using the default face. First, I never use the default face, but I also don't really like this one. I find the nose too fleshy, and the lips are far too big.
I always seem to prefer thin-lips and sharper noses.

Its a toss up for me if I play sis or bro first (my first PT is usually a throw away crappy one to just learn the choices) but my canon PT will be Sis, most likely with the default name but not the default face.
I very rarely make my characters look like or act like me, maybe this time I'll make my sacrificial first crappy run my copy.

One thing I know for sure is that I'm never using the default male face. It annoys the shit outta me. I'm really tempted to play as Rysis first, but I'm not sure. I think I'll scout the internet for impressions on the game. I wasn't convinced of the new male protagonist's voice in the PS4Pro demo and the fact that he was Octodaddy makes it hard to take him seriously unless he does an exceptional job.
