You know, I really hope we will have something nice to dress in...if every casual option is be something militaristic like Shepard had, it will be really disappointing I'm suer we'll get a wardrobe of sorts but what sort of outfits we'll get we won't know until the game comes out. But yeah I agree it would be nice to have something nice to dress up in whilst just hanging around on the Tempest or the Nexus in between missions So long as it's not a dress and I don't sit with my legs wide. I can deal with everything else.

What do you think? Looks a bit better? There's also Scott in the trailer: Eh...better than Shepard's wardrobe at least What I noticed is, they both have something that looks like wristwatch...physical part of omni-tool maybe? Or maybe we will have some range of accessories? ...or maybe it's just mandatory wristwatch... Gratz

But maybe yeah they could have a physical part to the omni-tool... Or it could be Sam? And thank you! Also, I liked those mods, some sleeveless shirts would be nice!

Although there weren't any dresses per se in DAI so I can't speak about that. The only dress like thing I have is a mod really an that't's the viv robes mod that you can wear on your Inquisitor and I tend to use it as they do look like proper mage/ female noble type robes that kind of suit my quizzies perfectly. There are other ones on the nexus site but I don't use them. Would be nice if there were a nice dress for Sara to wear for when she wants to woo her love interest though but we'll see as I quite often use that dress t attract my LI when playing a femshep in fact did so when talking to Garrus about his reach and my flexibility in my latest run.

I guess Omni-tool could indeed look like that, at least I doubt they need a watch in 22(+6) century.

It's mentioned in one of the logs on Liara's computer

Clothing? Mmmm
I like for Ryder to wear a pair of jeans. Maybe have them cut up like what Joe Elliot, lead singer for Def Leppard, had in one of his videos. Wear a t-shirt that says humanity #1 or at least a shirt representing the Carolina Panthers or maybe a Led Zeppelin shirt. For shoes have a pair of Nike high tops like I did over 30 years ago.

Most DAI body animation are mo-capped (actually all the way back to Mass Effect), but for time constraint reasons* they do not always do female mo-caps for certain things, just males ones. *Not just mo-cap time, it affect everyone in the pipeline that deal with the characters on screen.

I know they mo capped the females in ME1 as you can definitely tell by the way femshep moves in that game as it looks more natural and it certainly looks like it's going to be similar for Ryder too but we'll have to wait and see. As it looks like her run is at least similar to ME1 femshep's at least to me it does anyway.

I don't want to be negative but I didn't like the writing in the Sloane Kelly meeting scene in the gameplay video.
I know they cut out anything that would give away the context, but just those 3 seconds seemed inexcusable to me.

I know they cut out anything that would give away the context, but just those 3 seconds seemed inexcusable to me. Ryder: "Where is X?" Sloane: "Why do you wanna know" Ryder: "Tell me and will be no problems" [disarms the Turian] Sloeane: "Drop it! Now!" Ryder: "Make me" Sloane: "Get out or I kill you" ... It's not the fact the cut out anything that would give away the context: the cut away almost EVERYTHING. That's why I'm not worry. It's like they would have cut Saren's dialogue in Virmire: Saren: "You fooled my men". Shepard: "What are you doing?" Saren: "What has to be done, Shepard. We are doomed". Shepard: "I rather die than living as a slave". Saren: "Then you will die". [explosions] ...

Isn't it obvious how much better-written that Virmire dialogue is, in every way? "Get out or I will kill u" derp derp, some kind of meat-head NPC in a 90's Saturday morning anime "You fooled my men" <- drama "What has to be done, Shepard." <- swagger, some attempt at stylized dialogue. "We are doomed." <- slightly more sophisticated dialogue, feeling of despair. Something. "I rather die than living as a slave." <- at least a feeble attempt at invoking some kind of feeling. Sure, it's not anything past a highschool level of drama, but it's SOMETHING "I will kill u" or "I will put u down" is.... it's shit, I'm sorry. It's not even highschool. It's like pre-school.

Just in case this isn't clear, let me try breaking it down.
Example #1: Basic speech pattern: "What are you doing?" "I am doing X."
Example #2: Slightly more interesting speech pattern: "What are you doing?" "What must be done."
Example #3: Slightly more interesting speech pattern but something indicating the feeling of the character involved: "What are you doing? You fooled my men." "What must be done. We are doomed."
That smal1 sequence for Andromeda was a level #1.... Example #1. It makes a huge difference. There really wasn't anything revealed plot-wise. The fact he deceived somebody or something? The fact he thinks they're doomed? By what, for what? Even without revealing any plot details whatsoever, just the mere.... speech pattern is troublingly simple and dumb.

Anyone else think Sara seems more cocky? Or maybe a bit snarky? I wonder if Scott will behave similarly during this scene. I mean the dialogue choices will be the same, but perhaps they're reactions will be different? BIOWARE has said that Scott & Sara will behave differently (unlike Shepard who was basically the same person, just a different gender) during some situations.
Maybe Sarah will be more... gung-ho and sassy? And Scott will be more thoughtful? Just to give the two a different flavour.
