That's what I've got with my current Shepard I'm going to go with a more dark haired kind of girl. Depending on the CC I'm thinking something like a Nina Dobrev kind of look but with shoulder length hair for my first Sara but again this depends on the CC and what options the game gives us.

I'm just hoping it's not all buzzcuts and shaved sides. I really would love some illusion of long hair options this time, simple but pretty braids and buns.

To be honest I  think the CC is actually harder than the rest of the game for me to get right

yeah  I hope so too based on the hairstyles Sara and Scott have though they definitely look and feel better than anything DAI had so that's something that does give me hope. I think they only did that with DAI for 3 reasons. 

1 They were new to the engine and didn't really want to screw anything up if they didn't know how to do it yet.
2 They had to incorporate multiple species elves dwarves and Qunari
3 They also had to make it compatible with the last gen systems as well PS3/360 which likely held them back too.

Fortunately with MEA both points 2 and 3 are null and void and they have had that teething experience with the engine now so hopefully this should be an improvement. Judging by what we've seen I think it will be.

I haven't quite determined my Ryder's personality yet. It's really going to depend on the intro and the dialogue choices given us. Hell, I haven't even figured out her name yet, but I'm certainly not going with Sarah.

My first Sara wlil be moer diplomatic. She will fight but only in situations where she has too. I'm going to go conventional stick with humans kind of playthrough for my first couple of runs like pairing Sara with Liam and Scott with Cora. I'm not going to use their default names either at least not right away I may do later though but just not in the early playthroughs. I've got 3 names in mind I'm thinking about for my first ryder and they are Jessica, Sam and Katie I've not decided definitely yet these aer just ideas that I'm tossing around in my head. I know you have an AI called Sam in the game butI thought I could still go withthat name as it tsounsd like it might work well with Ryder I've just not decided yet.

yeah that's why for one of my future ones I may still stick with the default name so I do get to hear that but for my first couple of playthroughs I want to see what I can come up with for myself. Plus I want to see what options the CC has as well in terms of hairstyles and whatnot. I'm not against the use of Sara as it does work well with the name Ryder I would just prefer for playthrough 1 to go with something I've created myself this time.

I role played one of my old Shepard's like Picard though. He did look like Picard but I didn't go with the Jean Luc name though. Don't remember much about that playthrough as that was ages ago.
