For future reference, when game comes out can we post shots of our SisRyder? Under spoilers of course just in case. I believe we can. I mentioned on another thread about starting a thread to " Share our Ryders". And SofaJockey offered to create a thread for that ( which was nice of you, bud!). So once the game releases, you should post a picture in that thread only, to avoid spoiling anything for anyone in another thread. Whoever starts this thread, should also place a big SPOILER sign, in front of the title, just to be safe. I probably will be offline for a week or two, to avoid spoilers. So I might not create this thread. But anyone else is welcome to! yeah I will too I'll likely take a cdouple of pics using fraps or something and post a pic or 2 of my fi5rst creations later once I've done them but that'll likely be after I've done that initial playthrough. |

Thank you, hammerstorm and Hanako. 22 is indeed young, I would have liked to play someone a bit older *shake cane at the sky* , but on the bright side the default face goes well with the age. You know, I'm glad we have younger protagonist this time around (it might have something to do with me being around that age?  ) I just feel we might get new perspective on ME universe. I find that in most games, the protagonist either has really vague age, or is more grizzled, experienced one, usually somewhere between 30 and 40. Now we are getting someone with some experience (enough to justify making them pathfinder?), but much, still keeping them green, fresh, wide eyed....and I just really look forward to it  Aaactualy, I found out recently you can take screenshots in ME trilogy directly. You just have to have it set on windowed (borderless) instead of fullscreen. Blech, of course you do, haha. I'm sorry I have a major hate for windowed games, it just brings out weird ocd tendenciea in me. Well, borderless windowed is pretty much fullscreen just without its limitations (especially useful when you have multiple monitors). |

I don't think you have to on console but on PC I've had to use fraps not that I mind it too much as I don't use it that often I only really use it as it's the only way I've been able to take screenshots to post on forums like this. But that's only so that I can save it in a format that sites like Flickr can read because that's the only method I've found that works for me |

Well thankfully I've got quite a big hard drive on my system so should be OK but then I chose that hard drive because of it's size I still have 1.20 TB, but it will not be enough! /jk well I have a 500gb SSD and a 3tb hard drive in my machine. But then I carefully manage the stuff on my system older games and other files get put on the hard drive It's really only my OS and the most demanding games I own get the luxury of sitting on my SSD to try to extract the best performance I can from them. It works though. |

Soon I'm thinking about getting a second ssd, but that $165 price tag yeah that's the problem they're expensive and they don't give you a lot of space t oplay with but they make great boot up drives Also they'er pretty good at handling games like ME and DA becaquse of their open world nature as it cuts down on the load times. It's one of the main reasons why I got one for my system. It's also why I have a normal hard drive as well in my machine to cover any extra space I need. That way I don't have to keep deleting everything when I run out of space. Either way I'm looking forward to making my first sexy super biotic Sara and seeing what kind of damage I can do with her |

So am I really as I'd like to think it'll give us a chance to shape them more through there adventures due to their youth and playing that eager to learn trope. Obviously we couldn't do that so much with Shep as they were older and already had a fair bit of background behind them. But hopefully across this game and any future games (assuming we play Ryder for more than one game) we get to shape them more within the story. |

Now we know that Cora was Alec's second-in-command and intended replacement as Pathfinder, the relative youth of Scott/Sara makes sense. We were never meant to be the Pathfinder at all, until some kind of plot shenanigans force us into the role. Perhaps SAM is the reason that Ryder becomes the Pathfinder, after a crisis forces their father to transfer it to them? Rather than being the most qualified replacement, Ryder merely happened to be the closest person at that time, because they were looking for their father in the chaos? Or Alec feared he was about to be captured by the enemy and didn't them getting their hands on SAM, because then they could gain access to the Initiative's secrets, such as the locations of the Nexus and golden worlds they were trying to colonise? |
