Sara Ryder 'SisRyder' (Official Thread)

It's cold.

I'm facing a very serious problem at the moment! I like Sara's background "story" and her behaviour more than Scott's, but I would love to romance Cora. Gah! BioWare! Why are you doing this to me?! :sob:

Maybe I really need to keep my two playthroughs going at the same pace. I only just landed on Eos with both of them and can't decide.

Yeah I like this little awkward nerd struggling to find the authority she needs to command a mission trying to make sure everything comes together idea. It's definitely making me want to see how it all plays out. Frydda did a great job as Sara

maybe but I hope not though I like Sara and I think the series does have potential if we can continue shaping our Ryder's over more than one game like we could with Shep. Especially given Ryder's youth what with only being in their early 20's it would make a good and interesting selling point to me. But yeah I'm worried it may go down a more DA route as well with us playing different protags in each game from now on.

I'm not sure yet. Vectra seems like a cool girl too. Will have to speak a bit with both of them to decide who Sara wants to get a date with .

To be honest, Sara is the first protagonist ever that would also make for an amazing LI, too. My favorite Bioware character at this point.

Also, quite hot. CC may be flawed, but it can work pretty well.

I really love Sara's personality and she can look quite cute.

I enjoy seeing people's investments in their custom characters. The default is very lovely and my custom doesn't even compare, BUT she had a practical/serious vibe about her that I really dug and I thoroughly enjoyed the character from start to end. I had been using default Scott in the 10 hour trial because I didn't really care what he looked like, but when I saw people sharing their custom Sara and custom Scott, I could really see the family resemblance. I thought it made the game that much stronger and it paid off in terms of immersion when I finally saw them together. He really did look just like dad, you know?

In some scenes yes, but it's also not always like that. I think it depends what kind of a face you used (and if there're lips you can chose might be important too), but the overal animation is quite the same. That weird "grin" when she wakes up in Sam's node is always there, weird eyes at the end of her conversation with Dunn too. I didn't even try CC since I like default Sara and the only thing I'd change is hair colour for more red-ish but since I've heard it's not possible due to not being able to change anything in default Sara, I didn't even try to play with CC at all. 

I have play with both, CC sara and default Sara. I think is the same, both have weird animations but i prefer the default Sara xP
