Sara's face looks different, not just her hair, they have definately tweaked her face a little...and this isnt modded, i had to reset all my mods after the patch compare this to my pics above:  |

Oh, yeah, I see how much pinker her lips got. I didn't play default so I wasn't understanding the complaints, but when you see how dramatic it is, yeah, it's not like you have any control over it so the irritation is understandable. My CC definitely got the shiny hair, too. It's really noticeable next to Cora who remains the same.

^Current one is more natural tbh. Prev was too pale. When asked about her dad and telling people he's dead, talking about him overal, her face is completely different now. You can see emotional pain there. Another nice addition |

I've been using default Sara since I'm not too keen on the CC at the moment. I was worried I wouldn't like her at all, as I never played default Shep in the OT, but she's really grown on me. In fact, I think she's adorable, and judging by some of the reactions, you'd think I was the only one.  This patch certainly made her cuter though. The new hair textures look great. |

I definitely prefer the old Sara. The new lip colour doesn't look good on her at all imo, and I just personally hate the new hair texture. Gives me war flashbacks of the metal helmet hair in medium-settings-DAI. What I do like (though maybe I'm imagining it) is that they changed her eye colour to match her mother's. They have sort of greenish tint now, more like Ellen.

Finished achievement chasing and am finally getting to work on some fan trailers. First up is a custom female Ryder version of the Launch Trailer (Scott's full length version, not the cut down Sara one we eventually got) but I need help finding one of the lines. Does anyone know where in the game - and which dialogue option - you can find the line "That's why I'm here - exploring the unknown"? I can't recall hearing it at any point in my three playthroughs and am almost worried that, much like some shots in the trailers, it was made specifically for the trailer. (Seriously, one of the shots of Ryder in the trailer was created by replacing one of your squadmates with him/her) Thanks in advance That is in the prologue during the conversation with Alec Ryder on Habitat 7. To unlock this, you must clear the entire area first in order for him to praise you for being thorough. Select the emotional response for the "exploring the unknown" line. Well, better late than never, right? =/ I just heard the exact phrase you originally asked for and remembered this conversation. (First time I heard it though!) The line happens when Ryder wakes up and finds out what happened to Dad. Choose "If there's no other choice" and then the emotional option. Cora: "You're the new Pathfinder, Sara."
[If there's no other choice]
Ryder: "Whoa. Well ... if that's how it has to be ..."
Liam: "Don't sell yourself short. I think you can do it."
Ryder: "Cora?"
Cora: "It's what he wanted. I won't stand in the way."
Cora: "But being Pathfinder is a serious job. You sure you're ready for this?"
[Emotional: It's in my blood.]
Ryder: "It's why I'm here. Exploring the unknown."
Liam: "Just like your dad, huh?"

Personally? I'm good with them scanning a supermodel's face for Sara Ryder. I am not good with them trying to make Sara Ryder's face into a supermodel's. Her structure and tones can be tweaked without forcing me to have a protagonist that carefully applies lipstick and blush before going into the field to fight. I really like Sara's default face. I do not like the new makeover.  |
