Pre-orders (Official Thread)

Without a doubt. Most games I'd wait, no problem, but Mass Effect? I will definitely pre-order the game if the option to do so is available.

I liked the multiplayer - it was the only saving grace.  As far as the SP went, the story was depressing and not fun at all.  To me, it has no "replayability".   In fact, I wanted my money back, but because I pre-ordered it I was stuck with it.

Not anymore. MEA is far too expensive, it's abusive from them, really.

I'm totally pre-ordering. If the leaks are true (which they very much seem to be) then I'm 90 percent sure I'm going to absolutely love this game and won't regret my purchase. Andromeda is almost everything I want in a Mass Effect game, and almost everything I've ever wanted in most video games.




I've always wanted to play a video game where you are a nobody who sets out to colonize other worlds and rebuild humanity while fighting off aliens and wildlife, gathering resources, crafting gear, and going out on adventures, building relationships with, and romancing squadmates, or even playing co-op with friends, while serving the people of your new home.



I don't have much of a reason to distrust Bioware, given that Mass Effect 2 and 3 are some of my favorite games ever. Andromeda seems like it will combine the exploration and sense of wonder of Mass Effect 1, the characters and story of Mass Effect 2, and the combat of Mass Effect 3. This seriously could become one of my favorite video games ever.




I'm digitally pre-ordering the Super Deluxe Edition the second I can. And I'll be playing Overwatch to tide me over.

Did somebody found a Digital Deluxe edition pre-order for PC elsewhere than Origin? I saw for Xbox One and PS4 but not for PC.

As a self-admitted Mass Effect nut I will definitely preorder. I'm busy enough that I typically get 1 or 2 games a year at most. Whether or not I get a deluxe or collectors edition depends on what the additional content will be.

Nope. I did preorder ME3 and DAI and I did NOT regret it at all. However, I won't be doing it this time and wait for reviews.

I think preordering is stupid. And I only made an exception for Bioware because I was so hyped and such a fangirl. Ok, and because of the stag mount. But since we haven't actually seen anything of value so far I'm getting increasingly worried. Especially about combat. DAI combat was the least fun to play for me of any Bioware game. And now that the Mako will apparently not even shoot, I'm SUPER worried it's going to be an exact repeat.

I really don't want to be one of the doomsday people. I'm still excited and hoping for the best. But I'm worried for the first time and I don't like it.

I might pre-order the normal edition, but if I do it will be a few months from now closer to release. 

Also just to be complete here is an article on the two collectors editions, neither of which come with a copy of the game by default?
