At this point my expectations had dropped way below zero. My guess is that has something to do with shutting down the community.

I don't expect anything, literally. If they say tomorrow that MEA is cancelled, I'll just shrug. Comfortably numb, that's it.

Me. Biggest, most expensive collector's edition.

I wouldn't do it with other  games, but this is my favorite franchise and the only forum I visit and post on. I wouldn't do those things if I didn't think the game would be worth it.

Usually there's no good reason to pre-order so I rarely do it. I think the last time I pre-ordered a game it was Mass Effect 3 because I wanted the collector's edition back when most people still bought games in boxes. Now I don't really see the point.

I will likely preorder the one that offers the most in game bonus material. It really hinges on that. I'm not really interested in the toys and all. I was content with the version of ME3 with day one DLC (Javik) and CE guide.

If they don't offer anything at all, I could see myself letting the price drop and DLC releasing during that time as well.

Then again, I forgot about MP so I will likely get it preorder. I loved ME3MP. Lol, I played that before the campaign.

I preordered DAI. Never again. Coupling that with the fact that I was happy with Mass Effect as it was. Not sure why this is even being made still. I'll keep my eye on it, but I don't even know what to think.

After DA:I pre-order? Nope, Nada, Non, Nyet, never.

Despite my objections to the ending of ME3, my Collector's Edition preorder was something I look at as money well spent. Especially considering the MP, which is without question the best part of the game, much to my early dismay and anger and later to my great relief.

I did not preorder DAI, after my unhappiness with aspects of DA2. However I did buy the Digital Deluxe Edition on release day.

That was the end of my buying games before reading reviews that are after a patch or 2.

At this point, unless it's KotOR3/Jedi Knight reboot, or something epic and close along those lines, I cannot imagine another preorder scenario.

I was satisfied with my Dragon Age: Inquisition pre-order despite my feelings on Dragon Age ][, but this time I'll opt out of a pre-order for Andromeda.

Well, there is a reason I'm on this forum half a year before realease of Andromeda. I'm huge fan of this franchise. I'm going to pre-order it and I will regret nothing. EA loves people like me, I know.

I will 100%. Don't really believe in that whole 'pre-orders are bad' ideal that no one can seem to agree on why. For me though I only pre-order games I know, for the most part, I'm likely to actually like. I've been disappointed before, usually due bad misinformation/lies about whats actually in the game. ME3 is a good example of that, I'd say Watch Dogs but I never had any intention of buying it but back then I needed something to stream and after watching an interview about the game a month before release I thought it would be a good candidate. Course most the shit I latched into from the interview where lies, so that was a disappointment.

On a side note who the fuck makes a large open world game with NO ENEMIES on the map at all anywhere? You can't do a goddamn thing in that game with out it being with in a mission and those run out fast. Wtf, what the literally fuck where they thinking with that? It's not GTA, fighting police makes no sense. Like that's the onl....nm nm, moving on.

*coughs* Alright so it's Mass Effect. So far only time I've actually been disappointed in BioWare was with ME3. Ending was.. the ending. But on the plus side I played the MP forever and a half. Which was also kinda it's own downside. With the Ending looming in any single player campaigns and the fact I wasn't able to play how I was used to playing in MP it made trying to do more campaign playthroughs difficult to get motivated too (so I only ever beat it once, almost a 2nd time due to Citadel).

Basically they'd have to completely ruin the MP and have a worse campaign then ME3 to make me feel like I wasted my money. And Pre-Ordering has zero impact on that feeling. I wanna play it, not sit around for everyone else to play it.
