No. Never. I would like to burn heretics who do, or at least force them to build a wall around EA headquarters and make them pay for it.

If I'm wrong someone please correct me, I don't have Battlefield 1, but I believe that game did not have a physical PC copy. The only place to preorder a PC version is Origin right now. It would not surprise me if a physical version with discs is not in the works. I think I saw someplace that there may be boxes in stores, but they would only have codes in them. I have a steelbook from the collector's edition of Dragon Age: Inquisition and it is meant to only house the game's CDs and maybe the manual so I think it is unlikely that they'd advertise a steelbook for a physical copy if the physical copy will only contain codes.

In my opinion, not rly. It can be worth if they give you all this packs on release. So with good equip from this packs u can farm more credits/exp right from the start. But 20 packs over 5 months? It's shit, i'm pretty sure. Using my ME3MP experience u will be able to farm this pack from 1-2 games after few months from the start, so another free pack every week at this point will mean nothing. Better to use this extra 40$ to buy packs on release to take some boost, or play w/o spending any money and just pray on rng.

We need to know just what kind of gear those "premium packs" drop. If they're like me3 recruit packs with fancy name then lol. Regardless, "20 weeks" part is laughable. Make that 20 days at least bioware.

Nahhh. It'll probably be random packs anyway. However, if you feel like throwing money at BW, and absolutely want to get your manifest completed without putting in the time necessary, then, by all means, nothing stops you from jump-starting it with MP deluxe packs. I certainly support that more than people finding a way to cheat with some variation of Krisae glitch that ruins the game for other people.

I was wondering y no one was talking about this, its there for pre order but the extra $40 for 20 packs over 5 months, can it be worth it?What is the pack system like? Ur thoughts Personally, I have no interest in them and so I'm going to pre-order the non-Super but still Deluxe edition. I'd say you should consider whether you find the extra expense worth it and remember that this does not lock you out of content: it just means you'll recieve a pack that is free in terms of time and effort. You should also remember that this is not "free" packs in terms of money: the packs are so far the only difference between the Deluxe edition and the Super Deluxe edition so you would be paying the price difference for these packs and no other content.
It comes down to if you have the money to spare and if you think you personally think they'd be well-spent.

If you guys do pre-order please don't pre-order the super deluxe edition. As far as I see it's a complete rip off 30 more dollars for 20 premium booster packs for co-op. don't do it, just don't.

No, absolutely not. You will pay 30 more dollars for 20 packs which will likely be RNG. Don't do it save your money!! It's going to be co-op experience, I see no reason in having "an edge" in combat when people will be working together.

It's just a waste of money, if you want all the ME goodies you can still get the Deluxe Edition which has basically everything minus these MP packs which are not worth the additional money you would spend for them on the Super Deluxe Edition.
Seriously just get the Deluxe Edition and you'll be fine..if not only just for the soundtrack and the additional weapons and armors you'll get but if you don't care about them then go regular. Most of these items (weapons and armors) became useless past the first or second hour of the game. Basically you pay more for an easier experience which defeat the purpose of gaming altogether. The only reason I would buy a Deluxe Edition is basically for the soundtrack. This though is just my personal feeling about it.
The only truth is just don't bother with the super deluxe, it's just a waste of money. Extra money for in game limited MP consumables is just a bad deal.

Glad to see I'm not alone out here, I read through the Super Deluxe Descriptions a couple times looking for something "Super" but I'll stick to the Deluxe unless they do something really different

No reason too unless you won't have time or feel the need to play too much the MP mode.
It will probably be similar do ME3MP where you can buy things by doing matches.

It's going to be co-op experience, I see no reason in having "an edge" in combat when people will be working together. Agreed there is no "edge" in co-op and the boost only serves to unlock more content faster, the RNG is the silly thing cause if its anything like DAI no number of packs are going to make a difference with such unforgiving RNG. If its like the ME3 with the latest pack system for guaranteed unlocks then it would be helpful. The implementation of "PrestigeXP" looks of DAI promotion bonuses by a different name, I hope they dont make it too much like DAI multiplayer cause ME3 MP was a whole lot better than DAI MP and much more varied maps.

I love how they are painting that as a "bonus" instead of just paying them early to buy a bunch of microtransaction MP packs. Everyone could get that bonus just by spending money in-game, and they wouldn't have to wait 20 weeks for it.

In principle, 'better' versions of a game should be justified by other things than a few multiplayer packs. MEMP had 4 (basic) pack types, with a few variants: - Recruit Pack: Only worth it to unlock Common weapons
- Veteran Pack: Only worth it to unlock Uncommon weapons
- Spectre Pack: The main pack for Rare weapons
- Premium Spectre Pack: A bigger version of the Spectre Pack
So...
Deluxe and SuperDeluxe eh?
Sound like Spectre Packs and Premium Spectre packs to me? Nice to have, but assuming it's comparable, can be achieved by 10 hours Gold play, 20 hours Silver, 40 hours Bronze.
You pays your money and takes your choice

Not until having seen some multiplayer gameplay footage.
I'm going to wait until knowing at least that aspect of the game is good enough (even better than ME3MP), then I will certainly pre-order.

Haven't preordered yet. I'll most likely wait until like a month before release but I will preorder, eventually.
I've yet to see the things that would make me instantly hit that preorder button (gameplay, a few more details about the story, how the not-classes work, companion details and others I can't think of right now) so I'm holding off for the moment.

Depends on the benefits of pre-ordering, but it is most likely a yes. Bioware games have a tendency to bypass my "Don't pre-order" rule.

Never been a big spender on packs but if they gave you the option of buying blocks of credit with a large bulk discount I would probably be more inclined to entertain the notion of spending real money on virtual tat, e.g. $10 for 10 PSPs would be much more realistic and enticing proposition than paying through the nose to buy individual packs - i'd wager they would make a lot more money this way.
