Looking at what's included in Deluxe Edition, I'm starting to move from that "Too early to tell" to "Yes"...I mean more armor and Nomad customization, additional casual outfit and soundtrack....Yes please Why are you doing this to my wallet Bioware, whyyyy >_<

I will most likely pre-order the deluxe edition in the coming months. I was considering the super deluxe, but ultimately I don't think it'll be worth it for me. Plus, I just prefer the deluxe cover

Plus, I just prefer the deluxe cover I'll be honest and say that I prefer the standard cover and am a bit sad that it's not the cover of the game I'm getting. It's not that I think the deluxe covers are bad, far from it, it's just that the standard cover resonates with me more.

I highly prefer the standard version over them both. The super deluxe is particularly unimaginative, imo.

Deluxe and SuperDeluxe eh?
Sound like Spectre Packs and Premium Spectre packs to me? Nice to have, but assuming it's comparable, can be achieved by 10 hours Gold play, 20 hours Silver, 40 hours Bronze.
You pays your money and takes your choice
I'm pretty sure from origin preorder information that packs on deluxe and super deluxe edition are the same. Just with deluxe u will get 1 pack on start, with super deluxe u will get 1 pack on start and 19 packs later (1 every week). And i think this packs will be equivalent of premium spectre from ME3MP.

Actually, I was surprised that BioWare didn't charge more. Of course, they didn't offer a season pass, either. So, they could have stuff lined up for DLC's about 10 long at $15 a pop. EDIT : And yes, I ordered the $100 version.

Never been a big spender on packs but if they gave you the option of buying blocks of credit with a large bulk discount I would probably be more inclined to entertain the notion of spending real money on virtual tat, e.g. $10 for 10 PSPs would be much more realistic and enticing proposition than paying through the nose to buy individual packs - i'd wager they would make a lot more money this way. Fully agree, I want to give them my money but they have to make them worth it.

I won't be pre-ordering. I intend to wait until the first patch is released before I buy the game and hoping it will only take a month or so post-release. I'd like my initial experience with Andromeda to be as flawless as possible. I view every new software release as a final beta version that still has bugs to be fixed. I will buy the game and purchase it through Origin as I like how they have kept my trilogy updated and patched, and the ease of buying DLCs. I'm not going to worry about the price if the main game costs $60-70 USD. My hope is that BW has learned a few lessons about the best types of DLCs to create and will likely buy every one of them. Mass Effect is my one true vice for my solo free time.

But I think I will do the same. Buy secondhand spend savings on DLC. I wont lie I will at some point likely own all story DLC at some point after I've gotten bored with the vanilla game.

I have looked at the details and I the only one that thinks the Super Deluxe Version is only there because they aren't doing a season pass? To me they seem remarkably similar for you are paying in advance for something you won't have access to for months since they only give one pack per week for 20 weeks, which is the same as buying the DLC with a season pass where you might not get it for 6+ months.
I will admit I have changed my tune a little bit since N7 Day. I still haven't pre-ordered, but if I become certain I will be buying it on Day 1 I will then pre-order for the minor bonuses since I will be paying the same price.
I haven't seen a Deluxe version for the PC yet for a physical release, but with both Mass Effect 3 and Dragon Age: Inquisition shortly after release EA had an upgrade for $10 in the Origin store. That could be due to shipping fewer copies for the PC then the consoles and it makes more financial sense for them that way, but that is purely guessing.

I was going to change my pre-order to CE, but I just don't want to pay over 200 euros for CE when there is no game coming with it. I think I'll go with deluxe. Those mp packs doesn't interest me that much.

I love how they are painting that as a "bonus" instead of just paying them early to buy a bunch of microtransaction MP packs. Everyone could get that bonus just by spending money in-game, and they wouldn't have to wait 20 weeks for it. Yes, I'm sill confused about that. Why spread them out over 20 weeks? Unless they are tied to some weekly event? Guaranteed reward even if you decide to take your girl out for a spa week-end instead of pewpewing?

There is only one way to perhaps convince EA that Czech is worth it as a language in their games: Buying the stuff, and I did like Inquisition, againist the odds.
So yup.
One question remains, however: Digital or retail?

Was hoping there would be a physical deluxe edition for PC. Since this doesn't seem to be a thing, I'll likely pre-order via Origin and hope they have a preload option. If the deluxe edition gimmicks turn out to be less than expected and provided the physical copy comes with an actual disk (and without 10 GB of extra download... yeah I'm looking at you Fallout 4), I might get them from a local retailer on launch day. I don't I don't trust our mail service one single bit.

Yeah. It's Mass Effect, innit? (Just wish there was a physical Deluxe Edition available for PC--this is gonna be the first Mass Effect game I don't have a steelbook for. ) There isn't a steelbook unless you buy the Nomad from the BioWare store, the Deluxe version is just including the digital content unless I misunderstood what they are doing. The way I am understanding how they are selling the game is there are three versions... Standard (All Platforms + Digital) Deluxe (Physical for Consoles, Digital for all Platforms) Super Deluxe (Digital Only I believe for I have only seen it on the Origin Store) The standard version is just the base game and the Deluxe contains digital items and the Super Deluxe is the same as the Deluxe plus more Co-Op chests. Now there are two addons on the BioWare store 1) Diecast Nomad for $100 and that includes the Steelbook (empty) 2) RC Nomand for $200 and that also includes a Steelbook (empty) If you want the game with those items it there is also a version on the BioWare store that is +$60 to add the game to the Nomad.

Getting my first salary tomorrow, and being a huge EA slut I preordered the super deluxe edition. But kidding aside, I have good reasoning for it. I was a poor ass jobless high school (grammar school, though, EU guy here) and later a uni student when ME1-3 launched and well...I pirated the games. I did buy the trilogy later for super cheap like 15 bucks or something. Also bought DA games on sales.
Buying the most expensive and retarded pack is my way of repaying BioWare (to some degree) for all the great times I had playing the original trilogy.

* snip * I haven't seen a Deluxe version for the PC yet for a physical release.... I vividly recall my total frustration when trying to install the trilogy from physical disks three years ago. Long story short - I finally discovered through helpful forum posts on BSN that I needed to pre-install Origin on my PC (boot drive, Administrator User) BEFORE installing the game from the disks, and then run the game in administrator mode. To BW's credit their help desk solved my 'problem' by having me download the game from Origin and gave me a new digital key; everything was fine after that but I have a whole disk set stored away that I may never be able to use. Any-who, what really frosted me is that the install directions printed inside the box set NEVER SAID NOTHIN' about Origin needing to be installed first. I was such a noobie (never played a PC game before - ever!) and still am a noob in many ways. I fully expect Origin will need to be pre-installed (PC only?) for those who are completely new to gaming - but what ever occurs, I hope BW/EA will have the moral and marketing decency (intelligence? forethought?) to provide us with all the information we need to know to properly install this thing the first time we make the attempt. Unforced errors like that from a gaming corp 'devoted' to it's fan base should NEVER happen. Nor should the solution ONLY be found on a user-forum help thread. Good grief. I'm curious to know what the actual implementation will be for being able to play the game off-line (I'm in favor of it). Certainly we'll have to be connected online fairly often for solo play. I'm thinking that off-line play will be permissible for quests only, but not for the major levels necessary for game progression. I've gone off topic here (Will You Pre-Order? poll), so please understand that I'm not trying to change the direction of this thread. Just the mention of a physical installation disk sent shivers up my spine, and not in a good way.
