Yeah. It's Mass Effect, innit? (Just wish there was a physical Deluxe Edition available for PC--this is gonna be the first Mass Effect game I don't have a steelbook for. ) There isn't a steelbook unless you buy the Nomad from the BioWare store, the Deluxe version is just including the digital content unless I misunderstood what they are doing. The way I am understanding how they are selling the game is there are three versions... Standard (All Platforms + Digital) Deluxe (Physical for Consoles, Digital for all Platforms) Super Deluxe (Digital Only I believe for I have only seen it on the Origin Store) The standard version is just the base game and the Deluxe contains digital items and the Super Deluxe is the same as the Deluxe plus more Co-Op chests. Now there are two addons on the BioWare store 1) Diecast Nomad for $100 and that includes the Steelbook (empty) 2) RC Nomand for $200 and that also includes a Steelbook (empty) If you want the game with those items it there is also a version on the BioWare store that is +$60 to add the game to the Nomad. Yeah, no, that's how I understand it, too--hence this being a bummer. It's the first Mass Effect game I won't have any physical case for.

Goddess help me but I'm a sucker for casual outfits and space pets. So I'll preorder the deluxe edition. I'm not bothered with multiplayer too much so I won't be getting the super deluxe. I'm not missing out on a flipping PYJAK on my ship. No way,

I view every new software release as a final beta version that still has bugs to be fixed. I will buy the game and purchase it through Origin Just a friendly reminder, this year both AAA games released by EA had the most polished and bug-free PC versions. Titanfall 2 is awesome, completely smooth from start to finish on max settings, no glitches, no crashes and from what I've read Battlefield 1 is better in every way than the new CoD. Hence me pre-ordering the most expensive version. I'd even buy that $200 Nomad, if they sold it in EU.

I really enjoyed playing the trilogy, especially ME3 with its multiplayer component. For an old bloke like me who tended to stick to the single player games, ME3MP was like WOW! "eye-opening". It was a no-brainer really! I picked up the "super deluxe" version...

Hey Tiberius sorry to bother you but just wanted to see if you're allowed, willing and able to share any details about the PC versions of the game? I've seen physical regular editions of the game available for pre-order but as far as I can tell the deluxe and super deluxe are only available as an origin pre-order so far. Will it stay that way or will there be physical editions as well? You'll get a pre-order either way but if possible I'd rather have a physical version next to my physical version of the original trilogy. It's not that I really need it for anything, it'd just looks nice up there on the shelf!

What's the point of pre-ordering? It's not like you get to play it any sooner, and it's not like it gives you any advantages as in a MMO. Better wait a few weeks for any residual bugs to be fixed.

Well there's the Deep Space Explorer Armour, the Nomad Skin and the Multiplayer Booster Pack.. But honestly, my biggest reason? It just feels good..

MP Booster pack is probably nice, but seeing I am a Bronze Tier material, and better wait for a while till the tempers calm down, and all the angry young men move on to Gold and Plat, it won't make a lick of difference for me Yeah, less bug, more walk-throughs is my kindda approach to starting a new game. I tried starting a new game on Day 1, and all I get is being left in the dust feeling.

Too early to say. I'm tending on the NO, sinche I still have a RedBlueGreen monstrosity in front of my eyes every time I want to play ME3 (yes, I'm the type of person who keep a grudge. It was so bad, and it still stop me to finish ME3 when I want to play it). I still know too little to believe I will like Andromeda, so I'm not preordering this time. My finances aren't exactly bad, but if I can stop myself to buy the game full price, better.

No. I don't believe in pre-ordering anymore. Games should stand and fall based on their actual quality and word-of-mouth and review-based sales. Why would I pre-order something that has the potential to be terrible?

There are only certain game devs/franchises that command an instant pre-order from me....
Anything CDPR - tick. Anything Elder Scrolls - tick. Anything Fallout - tick. Anything Obsidian - tick. Anything Rockstar - tick.
and finally,
Anything BioWare - tick.
Even after DA2 and 'the fiasco', My indoctrination theory loving brain still craves instant BioWare gratification: I need that Mass Effect in my veins the moment it's available or I could possibly implode due to a fear of missing out greater than any hunger known to man XD

Nope, never pre-ordered a game in my life and im not planning to start now.
And recent flops like no mans sky, watchdogs etc just gives more of a reason not to do it, firstly i want to see some play-through and read a fair amount of reviews rather than just jump on hype-train.

Besides the few extra goodies which really aren't make or break, I like pre-ordering the electronic version because you can pre-load/install it and be able to play as soon as the release time hits. Considering how large these games are nowadays, it takes several hours, maybe overnight, to dl and install. Once it's released, I want to play, not wait some more.

The reason why I would pre-order is that I would be buying the game on Day 1, so pre-ordering for a couple of cosmetic items is just a little bonus for paying the same price a week or so prior to release. The other factor for some people that prefer to buy digitally is that there is generally a few days prior to release they give you time to download the game so it is ready to go on launch day.

If I like what I see, I'll probably do what I do with other major releases that I'm interested in, and pre-order a day or two before release. That way I get the bonuses, but can be pretty sure what it is I'm getting. Especially if it's a Steam game, because then I can pretty much always get 20% off on GMG.

I bought all 3 Mass Effect games for the Xbox 360, still haven't got far into the first Mass Effect so looking at this and have finally ordered a 1Tb version of the Xbox One as I'm not convinced going xbox s is worth it and as yet they haven't announced when they're releasing this yet!
Am I making a mistake by just going to an Xbox One rather than waiting for the Scorpio since some are saying this won't be released until Xmas next year?
So undecided but if I do go for it, the Deluxe Edition sounds interesting but until then I'll keep reading here and on Facebook to find out otherwise!

BioWare and EA have been constantly saying that it will be released in the first three months of 2017, they just haven't given an exact date yet. There have been several leaks for other releases that are to be at the same time as Mass Effect: Andromeda such as the Artbook indicating a good chance for a March release. As far as waiting for the Scorpio that is up to you for nobody outside Microsoft knows what they are planning, but I highly doubt there would be another version of the game released for the console and they would go the same route as Sony has for the PS4 Pro by releasing patches for existing games.
