Caved lol, pre-ordered the digital super deluxe edition on Xbox Live. Got a 10% discount with Ea Access too which is nice, added perk of playing the game early too (still waiting for confirmation)
Popped up in the tweetthread that there's no PS4 pre-order for deluxe+super as a physical copy outside of the US so I have nothing to put in my steel case sadly.

@lebkuchenbaer @gamblemike MEA PS4 Deluxe is available for pre-order only in North America. Digital after that and everywhere else.
I assume that also applies to Xbone players too. I know it's the case for PC.

Kind of. It still gives you a chance of improving. I prefer that it's a dice roll simply because it decreases the chances of you improving your gear through non-gaming methods. If I felt other than I do about buying an advantage, I'd probably be incredibly frustrated with the dice roll. On this, we can agree. I say if somebody is truly rich enough to carelessly spend the $10-15 it would take to get something actually worth a damn, they're welcome to it. My main issue with it is that, intentionally or unintentionally, it preys on people who are susceptible to gambling addiction. |

Since there will be no physical edition to the ME:A deluxe PC version, I bit the bullet and ordered from Origin.
Didn't do the super-duper-ultra-fantastic-luxurious digital deluxe edition ... figured that if they didn't dork it up, I'll be playing MP enough to max my manifest the old fashioned way ... by letting the RNG store troll me endlessly.
The Pyjak ... meh. Nomad customization ... meh. Informal wear ... meh. Thought the armor and weapons might help out a bit early on in SP. Worth an extra $10 ... prolly not, but what the heck, you only get a new ME game twice a decade, so live dangerously.

I'll probably just go ahead with the normal physical copy from Amazon. At least if Amazon takes $2 of the purchase price then its $2 less that EA gets vs. ordering it through Origin. Sigh. |

I bet if there was a financial benefit of having a physical version of the deluxe version EA would have done it by now, but there could be costs that we as consumers are unaware of and EA is willing to have consumers like you make a decision like that versus having a physical edition. In some ways its like using Steam versus Origin, if EA mathematically proved that they lost more money then they gained by going back to Steam they would have by now. I bet there are people that have not switched to Origin and are holding steadfast in not buying any EA games on Origin, but they are making more money per copy and aren't loosing money on each DLC sold. |

Preordered the Super Deluxe Edition on the PlayStation Store  First time I've preordered a special luxurious penthouse suite edition of a game before (but it's a new Mass Effect so...) Pet Pyjak sinched it. Space Hamster you will be missed, but come on only a varren at this rate could top Pyjak as potential Tempest pet. Or a kakliosaur  And if he MP is anything as good as ME3's I hope the extra MP boost or whatever will be worth it. Now just waiting for March...  |

I've never preordered a game before. Never even got a game the day it came out; always waited for reviews. However I'm definitely going to preorder MEA. Just going to wait until the month of game release. When I preorder I'm going to get the Deluxe version from Amazon.
