Thrawn and Ezra have been put in the freezer to be brought back later, the climactic battle ending with Ezra using his bond with hyperspace-traveling space whales to blast him and Thrawn into parts unknown. Fine, I’m not opposed to more Thrawn and it increases the chance of some sort of Heir to the Empire event happening in this continuity.
Also, Hera and Kanan has a kid, and apparently green Twi’lek-human crossbreeds look just like humans except with fluorescent green hair... I don’t think I’m okay with this.
In the Clone Wars series, there is the family that the deserter clone trooper Cut has. While Suu's kids aren't his, they are also hybrids between a Twi'lek and a Human. They just take after the Twi'lek side while Jacen takes after the human side.
Not so sure this is a good thing. I mean, if Ezra showed up again in the First Order era, he's just be a broken down old failure at life. Probably swilling green milk...

I’m kinda hoping he’ll come back as a hollow prisoner of Thrawn who has a minimal role in whatever next series they show up in. Ezra never did much for me.

Lol wtf? It better be adopted or a product of genetic engineering, this disney canon is worse than Legends' because Human/Twi'lek union is like trying to breed an orangutan, and a gorilla. Also on another note, i endorse Bill Nighy for Thrawn.

Human/Twi'lek hybrids were a thing even back in Legends before Disney came into the picture. There are quite a few humanoid species that are capable of producing children together despite being different species.

A Zeltron/Arkanian/Human hybrid seems plausible, but Clone Wars (thank you Leland) shouldn't have made Human/Twi'lek canon, it makes no sense even within the setting.

While I always endorse Bill Nighy for more cool villains (nothing tops Viktor though), I'm not sure he would work for Thrawn. Then again I am picturing him as Thrawn. On the other hand, you can do some pretty crazy blends with animation and I think he'd definitely have the vocal range for it.

Ehh...
According to Order 66: A Republic Commando Novel[27] and Imperial Commando: 501st,[28] and also the X-Wings series of books by Michael Stackpole and Aaron Allston, Humans and Twi'leks were genetically incompatible. However, Star Wars: The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia directly contradicts this, indicating that such pairings could indeed produce hybrid offspring.
Looks like it was one of those EU contradictions that never got resolved. Though it probably would've swung the way of Clone Wars because Lucas had a hardon for it. The way I've seen it described in Mickey's nonsense however is still particularly terrible though.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she is brought back in Episode 9. She is Abram’s favorite character in the new era if I recall correctly, and then there are things like the joke from the creators of her being the Kenny of Star Wars.

At present, the only best SW char of the franchise I can think of is Ahsoka Tano but that's me. All the other stuff from the new trilogy are very much meh and a let down.
