Reyes Vidal - No longer A Mystery (Official Thread)

Super late on this but I could not of said it better myself. 

Not sure actually, sorry. Could be off the mark there.

We will likely be seeing him in a couple of weeks unless he somehow appears in the colonialzation or tv spot videos.

Guys......... Reyes is turning into some sort of Zorro character for me?? Lol?!?

If Reyes is indeed the other M/M option, I hope he is amazing enough to make me feel conflicted when having to choose between him and Gil!

Maybe we can recruit him.

I kind of don't think that'll happen. Recruited to be crew, sure, but no more for squadmates. Although 6 is the smallest amount we've had altogether. Don't get me wrong it's be great if we did get a few more to recruit as squaddies but I'm sensing a no. Unless we get some dlc ones but we haven't heard a single thing on anything like that. Even Javik was known to be dlc and he was supposed to be a surprise.

They announced he isn't, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean that he isn't apart of their story. Allegedly he is a contact for the prisoner mission and according to another user, he may be a smuggler. He could have Quarians on his ship and is directly connected to them.

Oh, I seem to have missed that bit of info. So, he's not a quarian. Well, that's okay by me but I wish BW would just let us know something, anything. Currently (of the characters we know about) the only romance option I could consider for my female Ryder is Jaal, since Liam doesn't appeal to me but Reyes could change that if option is given. Soon, BioWare, tell us soon.

I absolutely loved Kirrahe and Kal'Reegar. Let's hope Reyes truly is something memorable. Personally I also hope he's recruitable but that's probably not going to happen.

I hope the secretiveness about Reyes has to do with his plot relevance re:Kadara. Also, I hope that he still has content after the Kadara subplot is handled, since it'd suck if he just had stuff pertaining to that one mission. Also, I hope he tells us about Sloane Kelley and makes sure she knows that my Sara is in love with her. I mean, I hope he tells us very... very important Kadara-related things that have nothing to do with anything personal.

One thing that'd be really great is if he's at least a temporary squadmate, sort of a tag along like how Cullen and Leliana each have their own little questline in DA:I where one of them can tag along with you to investigate Corypheus's right hand man in that playthrough (which changes depending on whether you go Templars or Mages).
