That's not really true about DA. Most of the DLC in DAO is set during the main campaign or before it, only the expansion and Witch Hunt takes place after. The DLC in DA2 takes place before the end and must be played before it. IN DAI only Tresspasser takes place defiinitively after. You can play Descent and Jaws of Hakon during the main campaign, but it is terribly difficult to do so. Awakening and Golems of Amgarrak take place after the main story of DAO as well. oops! I forgot about Golems because I hated it XD. I mentioned the expansion-which is Awakening. |

I'd kinda like to see them do more post-campaign DLC, rather than try to shoe-horn a few earth-shattering events during the primary storyline.
It's why in DAI, that JoH and Descent work slightly better storywise if you play them after Corypheus is defeated, since they're self-contained stories that don't really connect to the main plot at all. It makes more sense for them to be new problems the Inquisitor was investigating post-campaign, rather than ignore Corypheus to go spelunking in the Deep Roads and check into a weird Avvar cult.
Although I wouldn't mind seeing midquel DLC that requires us having to first complete the primary storyline that takes place on Kadara, Elaaden or Meridian. That way players will most likely be far enough in the game and at a high enough level to not be overwhelmed by a sudden difficulty spike.

Romance expansion patch??? Whut? Oh plz plz! Ah, before I start any rumours: I was referring to the BW announcement that they plan to add more content to certain romances in the next months, mostly the M/M ones if I remember correctly. That led people to assume that Reyes would be one of the romances to see additional content added once that patch comes out, which I so hope is true!! I just casually named that future patch 'romance expansion patch' even though I doubt we'll ever see a patch solely dedicated to better all the romances, although I wouldn't mind at all. There can never be too much content for romantic interaction if you ask me.  |

I really hope Reyes' animations for Scott get a lot of polish, and we get something to make it feel more like a real relationship for both genders. (something along the lines of talking about a future together, not just leaving everything so super vague)

The first play through I romanced Jaal but it really didn't do it for me, so the second play through I rushed to Kadara and romanced Reyes, but it is a bit disappointing to go through the whole rest of the game with no more interaction. I just love love love how happy and open Reyes looks like when you tell him that it appears you backed the right man. He doesn't say anything, just gives that look. I'm sort of prepared for the possibility of getting double-crossed or lied to again, but I really am sure Reyes genuinely cares for Ryder and wants them to stay together.

I don't think Reyes will double cross Ryder. Although I can maybe see them going in a sort of Iron Bull type direction, where we might have to make a choice that affects him, or decide whether to use him, given the Collective's possible benefit to Ryder as a quasi spy network.

With the Jien Garson murder case, he could have valuable info, having been on the station back then and now having his Collective network for intelligence gathering. I think my Ryder would hesitate a little bit, then ask for intelligence and freely share what he knew - I went extremely carelessly along with everything in the main game anyway.

No, if you play Legacy/MotA post-game there are references to Hawke either ruling the city (if he/she sided with the templars), and if Anders is in the party there's banter in both about the chantry explosion starting a revolution (and if you lose any companions during the end game they won't be available to take along), so they're clearly designed to recognize a post-game state. |

Hmm, I don't know, my guess is my Sara hasn't shared that information with anyone yet, outside of Scott, who would be the first person she trusts and is closest to. But I think at the end of the game, she's still kind of processing what these revelations mean and how they are connected. I think she does keep the fact about SAM being modded by Alec a secret, until it comes out to the rest of the Tempest crew, after SAM stops her heart, which for me happened after Reyes' arc. So yeah, I think he doesn't know this about Sara yet, in my game. I think he probably knew some things about Ryder, as the new human Pathfinder, before they met though. The Collective makes a point to look up anyone important, so I'm sure they made a point to research what they could about Ryder. But yeah, I think I see Ryder giving him the benefit of the doubt, since I RP'd that she also felt this way about Alec, who could also be distant and had secrets from the family, but she tended to look up to him despite that (he's just not a people person, he had his reasons, he did care afterall, etc...) |

I headcanon that my Ryder bolts after every encounter, does other stuff, then misses Reyes and flies back into Kadara. It works awesome. Right now, my Ryder is annoyed with meeting Reyes' ex and being suckered into paying his bills again. So he is storming Kett's base on Eos thinking:"screw that vidcall. I am NOT going to Sloane's stupid party with the slippery bastard." I think he will manage to stay away for a bit, but not for long. Heh. one gulp would be too short.
It's good that this game lets you stage it imo, rather clever. It's definitely better than pre-set pacing, because I know what I want to do, so I can time Reyes fix just right.
I still need to play Liam's romance to the end, but so far, Reyes wins for me! But I would not confide in Reyes that sky is blue  It's part of the charm!

My Ryder would be conflicted in the regard of telling Reyes or not. Most of my thoughts about him are headcanon, and I'd need to see if he gets fleshed out soon and what information comes forth during the fleshing to see what exactly my Sara does.

Go, thread  , and stay classy As for secrets, my Ryder definitely inherited her dad's charming, people loving, wide-eyed personality. So no telling anyone anything unless they're Scott (family when that still applied), even more strictly so because she was the Pathfinder and wouldn't really risk upsetting the crew's morale too much, friends or not. Which, on the other hand, would leave her under quite a strain, which could result in her getting ranty in a casual, relaxed situation, like when hanging around with Reyes. All in all, glad all this came well after the Kadara business was concluded. No headcanon dilemmas there, since Reyes was nowhere to be found at the time. |

I don't know why but I can't bear Liam, I find him so annoying I can barely talk to him, did have a fling with Peebee in the first play through so might explore that more.

I think my Ryder would be telling Reyes the "major stuff" since that's kind of the thing. Maybe he doesn't need to hear that Jien Garson was murdered just yet because that could be considered classified. However, I would say that my mother was in cryo and that maybe there was a chance she could be saved. That's a personal thing and exactly what you tell your LI about.
