I'd personally adore: more emails about the plot, drunken emails, kissing animation after the events of High Noon (if Reyes is in power), maybe an animation after you talk with Reyes on

I'm just glad he doesn't lock you out of the Gil romance.  If you romance both of the M/M options it almost feels like you got a whole romance out of the game.  ALMOST.  sigh....

Reyes and Gil both lock out some romances, but not each other. I think it's probably some kind of flagging glitch, rather than being intentional.

It is flagged as a full romance, but it has less content then Reyes.

question about romancing reyes, is doing the full romance in which at no point he is being rejected (along with certain story choices) lock me from romancing one my companions on the tempest? or is it like the reporter in which you can persue full romance and still romance someone else?

sorry if has been discussed before but i'm not reading 101 pages =P

I'd love matching scarfs or something (I like the scarf of the Scavenger armor, but it can't be upgraded and that sucks, and I also prefer armor with biotic bonus, rip me).

Hey there. I've been on the Jaal train since his thread was 40 pages. But I decided to go for the romance achievement and go for Reyes this time!

Oh how my eyes have been opened to what I was missing!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I loved his character and romance. I also loved letting Sloane die.

I mentioned this in some other thread but just realized I never actually posted it here. The whole Kadara plotline totally gives me pulp noir vibes - with Ryder as the idealistic gumshoe detective way in over their head, and Reyes as the femme homme fatale who aids us on the one hand while leading us astray on the other. As a huge fan of neo-noir and a big Dennis Potter fan (a director of neo-pulp T.V. stuff I totally recommend watching if you're into that sort of thing), I think that's a big part of why I love Reyes and his romance so much! Fun, sexy, keeps you guessing... Plus the whole trope is turned on it's head by switching up the genders (female 'antagonist' included), or making our leads gay if you play as Scott and pursue the flirtation.

But yeah, I'm with you guys in that at this point that I'd be happy with a few extra e-mails post- Kadara and epilogue to flesh out the romance. Liam's romance doesn't have a ton of content either, but the e-mails he sends you (post Meridian especially) go a long way to give you a sense there's more to the romance than what the game actually gives you. Though I certainly wouldn't say no to more than that!

It would just be nice to at least get an approximate ETA for the next patch and whether the romance improvements will be part of it. Also, whether they'll affect Reyes specifically. So I know whether to put off my next playthrough or not. I've been lucky in that I've encountered almost no bugs in my game, but it's frustrating not knowing what either the romance improvements or those to the CC are, and whether they're worth actually waiting for. (I also have a small, probably unreasonable, fear that the improvements to Reyes romance will only apply to Scott as a misguided attempt to balance out the romance equality - I mean I'd be happy for the m/m players as I agree that giving them more content is a priority, but... it'd be pretty frustrating knowing I'd waited for nothing since I only play female protagonists given a choice.)
 
Glad to see you on the Reyes train, miss. Not sure if you remember me from the Jaal thread - though I love Jaal as a squadmate he ended up not appealing to me as a romance - but no biggie, as I've got Liam and Reyes instead.  But yeah, even with the lack of content, Reyes' romance is awesome. And this is from someone who isn't usually into the flirty, morally-grey rogue types as romance options. I think it helps that I can play the romance with a more reserved, logical Sara who plays hard to get - which I totally recommend, by the way, if people haven't tried it! I know many enjoy the flirty banter and wouldn't want to miss out, but personally I love the romance this way more. Opposites attract, and all that, and the dialogue is great...

Sara: *picks a subtle flirt*
Reyes: *not so subtly flirts back*
Sara: Let's keep this professional/we're just going as friends!/that kiss was totally just a distraction...
Reyes: Of course... 


Either way you play it, I love that you can take totally different paths, and keep your Ryder in character, while still locking in the romance. I do think that's the one thing the MEA team got right as far as the romances go (where they dropped the ball on a whole lot else, in my opinion).
