With the Arks unable to refuel by traditional means in dark space, the journey to Andromeda is only made possible by the ODSY Drive System. The ODSY is a massive experimental drive core specifically designed for this trans-galactic voyage. It is capable of recycling static energy that would typically cause a starship to explode, instead storing it to power the Ark’s primary systems. Meanwhile, an electromagnetic ram-scoop will gather hydrogen from the Ark’s surroundings, converting it into fuel as needed.

Deal with it, haters. Static charge is now used as power source, genius solution.

Salarian or turian?

Very interesting solution to the static charge build up problem.

So the Arks are 1.5km longer. Smaller than some people thought in another thread, that also means the Nexus is smaller too. Speaking of it, anyone else find suspicious that the Nexus is leaving half build?

Pacero is a spanish word...strange.

Don't see anything suspicious, Andromeda is resource rich, remember? Besides it's not like they showed us fully built Nexus departing in first briefing.

Seems more like an attempt to have an in-game justification for their presence in Andromeda considering the Krogan's history with two out of the four Council species and their generally violent nature. (IMO).

How bad is it that I hope neither invented it, and it was reverse-engineered from some extra-galactic Remnant ship?

Yeah, I know "another alien artifact" but really, at this point the Council races are all still caught in the Reaper's trap, developing along the lines they wish.

I think it's not a bad solution, we'll probably get more info in the codex.

We left our planet 30 years ago, and some human comes and says "hey guess what, were new to this galactic society and all, but hey Heres a way to travel to awhole different galaxy! Istn it neat? "

Then again im not too keen also of it turns out, "hey its another prothean tech we just happened to discover."
