Because he's experienced and will be spouting sarcastic badass confident can-get-all-women lines. Sigh, that's exactly why I'm against the whole daddy story. Same as with AC3, it's way too easy to overshadow rookie Player Character with seasoned parent character I agree with this I to am so against the whole dad story, because right off the bat he is experienced and will overshadow the player characters. The whole point is for Scott and Sarah Ryder to get out from under is shadow and become there own character's and get experience and they can't do that when their dad is around Which is why i'm hoping it's actually a fight between Alec and his kids, vs revenge for the death of Alec. That has a lot more dynamics to it...perhaps Alec goes native or is captured, mind controlled or rendered unconscious due to the S.A.M program. There is a lot they can do there...maybe a jumping off point between what Alec wants vs his siblings...might see something big happen.

For that matter, why doesn't Anderson sport any sort of N7 logo on any of his gear? He was an N7 after all. In ME1, only the Onyx armor even has the logo on it. In ME2, only the standard armor has it, but the Kuwashi visor has it on it at the back. It's probably a totally voluntary thing... so much so that the Alliance did not specify where it was to be located. It just doesn't prevent a N7 graduate from displaying the logo if they desire. Shepard prefers the right breast, Ryder the left. Anderson wore dress blues the whole time. He was never in the field like Shepard was. Even Shepard doesn't have an N7 logo on his/her dress uniform In ME3, Vancouver is under attack. Its a good chance Anderson wasn't able to get to the barracks to gets his armor to wear. So he settled with what is seen in the game No idea what that means. As I've said several times. The Alliance is Biowares military. They can do whatever they want

The Alliance digs up appropriate and matching armor for all those civilian resistance fighters we see in London, but Anderson continues to fight in Alliance leather-armored casual gear (i.e. the same dress Shepard can wear on the ship) with maybe a vest over it. They should have at least had an N7 armor set or even helmet kicking about the Citadel DLC apartment... might have been an appropriate fetch quest, too... "Hey Shepard, since I gave you my apartment and it looks like you're headed here to earth, could you at least bring me some decent armor. It's in the closet in the spare bedroom." ... and I did say that perhaps it was like the flower in the hair thing. Ref: Paragraph 5: www.hairfinder.com/hairstyling/flowers.htm

Well, he was fighting on Earth, so he may only wear Kevlar armor -or the futurist version of it- . Those guys on London weren't from the resistance, they were from the Alliance invasion force that comes with you, so, they have full armor.

They look like claymation characters crossed with those puppets from shows like the Thunderbirds. The torso's still look too elongated for their stumpy legs. Am I really the only person who sees this?
The more polygons they cram into a human face the more inhuman it looks. ME2 humans looked far less creepy and soulless.

Major Coats was acknowledged by Anderson as being integral to his resistance... and he is in full armor. masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Major_CoatsThe ground force is a combined one... surviving troops from Hammer and members of the resistance.

There are several others. Sorry I took so long... got interrupted then basically forgot for a bit (I'm old and forgetful).

I kind of know what you mean, though the comparison is a little harsh. (comparison with the recent CGI version, and the 'proper' original.) (Mainly included this for the bit with Thunderbird 2 at the start; it's not one of my favourite episodes. It's not terrible, don't get me wrong, but not the best either.) It might not be 'proper', but I have to say, as reboots go I've actually been thoroughly impressed by Thunderbirds Are Go. The decision to combine CGI and model-work was super smart - or, well, I really enjoy it, anyway - and I'm consistently impressed by the rescue scenarios/setpieces they come up with. Series 2's been particularly good. (The toys are great, too. ) As for the comparison to Andromeda's character models... Eh, honestly I don't see it, but then, I've been consistently befuddled by the problems people have had with the way characters look in this game going all the way back to our first look at Peeb.

So is it going to be only the five squadmates?
I was hoping for two more at least to bump it to seven.

We are just like the Power Rangers of Andromeda. To be honest, just put some mechs in the Mass Effect series (I'm not talking about Atlases, I'm talking about EVAs) and everything will be more awesome. Everything's more awesome with mechs.

Sara super especially.
Liam looks alright. They should have made all the humans black. These new graphics don't go well with European face types.

Have they always reloaded the katana like a break action shotgun, with shells coming out and all? That seemed odd to me, since aren't ME weapons supposed to just have blocks of metal that they shave off when they fire?

Do we know that one shotgun is for sure the Katana?
