I don't think you can use ME3 as a very good foundation for speculation because the fact it's based on 2 games worth of imported decisions really complicates things. No other Bioware game has that scenario going.

Cora will be available to rydude since there is always a female human option for the male protag she will only be a li for rydude.

Peebee with the last two asari being bi i think she will only be a li for rydette.
Vetra since the ladys had Garrus in the last two games i think they will make her a option for rydude since we have never had a turian romance she will be a li for rydude only.
Drack get the feeling he won't be a option.
Gien available to both.
Reyes available to both.
6th squad mate i think will be male and will be a li for rydude only.
Foster, Nakmor, Sloan and jath could also be options.

As brought up, I was wrong and they have done it with an attractive female character before: Vivienne. With that in mind I don't see why PeeBee is for certain exempt from the same thing. Vivienne? It certainly felt like she was the most shown companion before DA:I. You are right, I had forgotten about Vivienne. She is a perfect example too. She was shown a lot and lots of detail went into her design and voice to the point most people thought she would be a love interest for the Inquisitor. And yet when the game came out she had no interest in having a romantic relationship with our protagonist. |

There had always been more female romances in Mass Effect.... Romance-wise, yes. As purely female/male presence, ME1 teamates were balanced: not so much in later games. ME1: Femals: Liara, Tali, Ashley Male: Kaidan, Garrus, Wrex ME2: Female: Samara, Tali, Jack, Miranda, Kasumi Male: Jacob, Garrus, Thane, Grunt, Zaeed, Mordin ME3: Female: Liara, Tali, EDI, plus Ashley Male: James, Garrus, Javik, plus Kaidan Potentially, ME3 had only two male teamates, if Kaidan was left on Virmine. Tali and Garrus could be dead. So we have, if I didn't forgot someone, ME1: balanced: as many males as females, ME2: more males than females. ME3 can have more female than males, but it depend on choices in previous games, but it have two females teammates "sure" (Liara, EDI) and one male (James). |

The honest truth is that we probably haven't even been introduced to half the romance options yet. It's not surprising to see Reyes and Kallo on most peoples male romances list, as they along with Liam and Drack are the only male characters we've actually been introduced to besides Ryders dad. In fact, I think Drack is the only prominent male character whose face we've actually seen.
I'd like to have a better idea of what the characters in our crew and squad are. Or at least the number of squad mates we'll have. Then maybe we can actually get a grasp of what the romance prospects are.
As for the gender ratios, I'm fine with the majority of the squad being female, but we certainly don't need more female romance options than male ones. The Mass effect games have always had more female romances.

Though we may well end up with more female than male squad members who are romances (I'm actually thinking all the females might be, with Liam being the only male - though I hope our speculated Andromedan will be too), there's the potential that there's quite a few romances outside our squad. I know there's at least one with a character on one of the planets (though I suspect that's a female character since it was a male dev who mentioned it as a favorite), and it sounds like there might be some with major NPCs on the Nexus. It also sounds like they put a lot of work into the Tempest crew (and we know they'll have much more dialogue than before) so there will likely be some there as well. I do hope that overall female players get as many options as the guys this time around, and of equal quality (no dying or getting cheated on please), as ME's been rather bad with this.
