No number? My number 4 was the one with the three arrows arcing off to the right and in first post they have the number 7 out from them. Also in the trailer at 3:45 when the power is used small nodules are seen bouncing off the creature and then at 3:49 you can see small globes behind the creature that explode... 3 I believe. That power is fired from the gun with a recoil animation just like concussive shot in ME3. It is not thrown like grenades are. It does have a number though. 8 which is a lot more we have seen the grenade and even the mine skill at. I don't think what explode was what bouncing off the Fiend. The most visual one is right behind the Fiend's ass, has a blinking light and is conveniently placed between the Fiend and both Liam/Cora. Concussive shot is number 3 so why make an indicative redundant power? When the power with arcing right arrows cool down ends the grenades behind the Fiend explodes. If not connected to the power then why does the grenade explode? Maybe it is a grenade that is launched from the gun. The ammo counter does decrease quicker from 51 to 48 than the speed of the rest of the decreasing ammo. With most of these abilities they seem to combine class moves so maybe it is a combo of a concussion shot or something similar and a grenade... frag or incendiary most likely.

A grenade wouldn't explode because the cooldown ended on the skill. They usually explode on impact, unless it is a sticky grenade where there have an internal timer not tied to the skill. Like proximity mine if not triggered. Even if 4 is not concussive shot, I'm pretty sure it is not a grenade skill either. I also doubt that 3 is concussive shot. It impact animation doesn't seems to fit to me. While skill 4 looks like concussive shot amplified with incendiary ammo as it does in ME3.

Cool thread. I'd never have been able to guess more than a handful of these.

I went back and had a look at the footage in slo-mo at 3:45. I'm confident that #4: - is fired from the weapon, not thrown - has multiple, arcing projectiles - explodes on impact (all projectiles seem to hit the fiend in this instance) I'll amend #4 accordingly. The impact animation for #3 (at 2:32, 2:52 and 3:18) is a little different to the concussive shot impact animation from ME3, although this could just be a stylistic choice for MEA. It seems to make a warped/disruption effect on impact but it still has the stagger the concussive shot had. The firing animation and the trajectory look the same as for concussive shot in ME3. It also appears to set off a tech burst, which CS can do. The symbol is what still makes me think that it is concussive shot, as it is very similar to the previous games. You could be right that it is something new, tho. I'll note that in the OP.

Hahaha that was the first thing I thought when I saw the symbol too! Maybe it's some kind of razor thin electrified wire that you can use to decapitate enemies who aren't coordinated enough to keep up with your mad jump rope skillz. Thanks

I also noticed how friggin much damage it did, it insta-killed the turian that had half bar of armor. Of course they're still balancing stuff, but I found that interesting as in previous MEs concussive shot always was pretty weak, more a stagger or detonator rather than a damaging power.

Yeah I noticed that too. It basically killed everything it hit. Might be a particular evolution that does damage to armour, perhaps. Mind you, the level 6 amplified (SP) and hammer (MP) CS upgrades in ME3 were pretty powerful in terms of increased damage.

What I noticed on my end, without looking in this thread (didn't know about it, good job people): - Biotic "Aegis" - Biotic Charge - Concussive Shot - Multifrag Grenade (from ME3 Destroyer) - consummable - Unknown grenade 1 (Proximity mine?) - consummable - Assault Turret - Tech Shield - consummable - Flamer - the "three-circles" power (no idea, never seen) - "Arc Projector" power - Fireball - Pull+Maintain - "Hazard" symbol - Cryo/Snap Freeze - Unknown grenade 2 - Tac Cloak - A "Push" power (?) - Singularity - Unknown "Flame" power (we just see the icon) - ME1 style Overkill icon (maybe a RoF power)

It does looks like multifrag grenade (which is an omni-tool grenade launcher going by what I watched on youtube). I didn't do much M3mp, so I never saw that skill before.
On another subject. Something interesting with skill 10 (at 4.11), it bounce between the enemies. Ryder'arc touch the one in the middle, then it bounce to the one on the right, then another remnant down left below (that goes *poof* in a black cloud!?) and then to the nearest one left of Ryder. Slinky Energy Drain!

Could this be an Energy Drain/Overload combo power?

Energy Drain also stunned synthetics in previous games. It didn't use to bounce/arc to other enemies though.

I hope they still have chain overload as a separate power. It was soooooo useful for stunning mooks.

Time to revive the thread, we've seen more abilities! "Remnant VI" - Deploys a retrofitted remnant observer that repairs itself over time, cloaks when critically damaged and counts as tech contruct. the biohazard icon is "Invasion" - Infects opponents with an invasive VI controlled machine swarm that weakens defenses and spreads itself to nearby enemies flame icon is "Flamethrower", which is pretty much Flamer (and it has "blinding heat" as 6 point evolution which reduces enemy damage output)
Edit: Oh, and Chain overload is part of the normal overload, but you charge it to make it chain

Confirmed powers/passives + descriptions Skill tree ABB seems like the optimal way to spec that power (A = top option, B = bottom option) if you want to put six ranks in it.

This might make Samantha Ryder a more pure engineer build, what with all those cool sounded tech abilities and it makes sense giving her character....but now I am just growing concerned that this three power limit thing could actually become an issue.

I....actually kinda like it I have no self control, my build would be all over the place without skill limit and individual cooldowns Edit: Thing I'm curious about now...Are combat drone and remnant VI separate abilities? What is difference between them?

I....actually kinda like it I have no self control, my build would be all over the place without skill limit and individual cooldowns That's not a bad point actually but there are one or two powers in the tech tree that I really like the sound of, plus Overload which is almost a staple of tech stuff in the first place, and combined with the fact that I want Sam to at least have some combat abilties, and Tactical Cloak....well this might start to get a little messy.
