I am interested to hear your thoughts on this also, but what suggestions would you make for BioWare to consider and follow for any future representation approaches to Gender and sexualities?

Honestly? To keep doing what they are doing and concern themselves with the characters that are interesting and not restricted by numbers and checkmarks overly much. While I can't really say that I found something that appealed to me personally as a romantic/emotional experience in every game I've played from Bio-Obsi, on the whole, I have thoroughly enjoyed playing with their characters, and some of the romantic and non-romantic relationships were among the most memorable emotional experiences that I have the pleasure of encountering with the works of art/entertainment. I absolutely hope that other players have the same moments of pure delight on the journey of a story co-creation with BioWARE, which means that the characters can't all be the same.

None of these facets matter if the characters and setting aren't compelling. As I've said before, sometimes it's interesting to go certain ways with it, just to see the reactions and interactions that result.

Agreed. I think that they should just keep doing what they are doing. Just keep offering a wide variety of LGBT characters. And, if I'm being honest, I'd kind of love it if they didn't totally avoid stereotypes. I'm still waiting for a femme gay guy and/or a really butch lesbian.

I would like if BioWare could create an alien whose sexuality and breeding, and birthing is nothing like humans at all, whose anatomy and psychology is difficult to understand, yet through a some shared experience (as per this thread, romantic in nature), we learn a great deal more about. It may not be romantic to said species, but feels that way to a human. Sorry, I just grew up watching movies like Starman, an energy being that manifests as an orb of light, but clones itself a human body to avoid detection by humans, and goes through human experiences, including a romance. You get scenes like these- I doubt that we will get something like this in ME, even if said alien was an AI. I would've romanced a rachni. I want to know what color my song is.
