As much as I want to see the Javelin return, it wouldn't make sense. Give me an African-American Widow like we saw in the gameplay reveal and I'll be happy.

My favorite SP weapons were the Lancer and the Indra; though the Harrier was a ridiculous combination of fun and effective, also. If I can acquire or craft weapons like these, I'll be content. I hope they put some thought into the lore when including these weapons, and don't just throw in the lot "because MP". At least update the lore if it needs an update. For instance, the Widow shouldn't be usable by Ryder, as is. It would need adjustments in order to be fired by a non-cyborg human. Other weapons might present timeline conundrums. If they're included, I want proper lore explanations in the lore-blurbs. Some of us read and dig the lore. Lastly, I'm excited to see what the new weapons will be, though that's beyond the scope of this thread. Actually the crafting system might be a good way to get around at least some of the lore issues. After all given what we know about the AI they may not have taken many weapons along with them in the first place. The intention was to build them on the other side. Thus they may not have gotten access to experiemental weapons just their schematics, fully knowing that they would be built and constructed as needed on a case by case basis. Which would also explain why you may not have access to them all in the beginning as different species/ arks/ individuals bought thier own schematics hoping to one day use them.

The Black Widow is the sniper showcased in the latest video. The "Magnus" thing is on the Carnifex, and the gun was also showcased back in the E3 trailer. The Crusader is in the game, left some pics in the CSI:BSN thread. where in the video? unless it was the bit with the exagerated tac cloak then fire in the trailer. Yes, here. It has black painting, and more than 1 round so it's not the Widow. I mean, we could start nitpicking and say that it could be the Widow with some weird ass mod that increases mag size for snipers and since both guns are virtually identical, it's a possibility. However I assume that based on the evidence, it's just the B-Widow.

No that looks very much like it, I just missed the graphic in the bottom left hand corner the ten or so times I have watched the trailer so far.

Mattock. Loved that rifle. Never used any other assault rifle once I got it. Yes, love the Widow, the Phlanax and Locust...but the Mattock was my go to for my Soldier. I only switched when I ran out of thermal clips, and switched back the second I had more. It was awesome.

Anyway, the only weapons I care about are the Harrier or Mattock. Anything else is just something I'd have to settle with, unless they manage to win my heart with something new.

I loved how they added visual weapon customization in ME3, but I haven't seen any concrete evidence that it's making a return in ME Andromeda. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows.

I didn't see the Black Widow anywhere, as far the Carni we have seen weapons look like it but other eagle eyes people have noted the weapons said 'magnus' on the side, so, it might be a different gun that looks like the Carni ala the Palladin. CHRrOME already mentioned it posted it , but here's a screenshot of the Black Widow: I'm assuming it's a Black Widow and not a Widow, since it has 2 rounds left (probably fired 1 already), with a nice 12 reserve, a multiple of 3. And you're right that the Carnifex had variants, but we know it's in the game itself thanks to the orientation video: It remains to be seen if the one Ryder grabbed in the gameplay video is the vanilla Carnifex, but I think it is and just has a new paint-scheme. Remember, the Paladin is smaller, for one thing. My goto weapons were the BlackWidow, the Geth Plasma Shotgun and sometimes the Crusader. I know there's probably very little chance of the GPS showing up, but I'm still hoping on the other 2... Actually, the Geth Plasma Shotgun could easily fit the timeline, since it was usable in ME2 (and presumably existed in ME1), before the Arks leave. Since Black Widow was already mentioned, I'll throw in the Arc Pistol (assuming they don't make it useless since its godliness is well known). Trailer shows we already have an "Imma firin mah lazor" type gun on cooldown mechanics like the PPR so hopefully that's fun. I'd hope for a lazor sniper like the CSR as well. Otherwise I hope we see some cool alien energy weapons that don't rely on freakin thermal clips!! The Arc Pistol was made by Daro'Xen, but it doesn't say when it was designed. Since the Reegar Carbine is in, and it was an iteration of the Arc Pistol design (apparently), it would actually make sense to show up. I agree that some weapons should not feature thermal clips! The Prothean Particle Rifle was one of my favourite weapons... though partly because I just love beam weapons I hope they put some thought into the lore when including these weapons, and don't just throw in the lot "because MP". Some of us read and dig the lore.1. Actually, the ME3 Widow is a new variant designed specifically to be able to be used by non-synthetics, and the Black Widow is yet another attempt at improvement by the Alliance, so I'd figure those are the ones Ryder and co. would be using in ME:A, not the ME2 original variant. 2. But I agree they shouldn't break lore, much as I like all the weapons. However, after going through the descriptions of all the weapons I was concerned about, they should all fit. The Kyrsae was my biggest worry, since I remembered it being designed during the Reaper War, but I remembered wrong; only the specific variant of Krysae in ME3 was, it was a Turian anti-matériel rifle before. Some of the others don't list specific invention dates, so they're good too, like the Quarian anti-synthetic weapons. Also, I remembered this from the Krysae's description: "In a desperate move, the turians released its specifications over the extranet so that nearly anyone with a fabricator could manufacture this weapon to help the war effort." So they should also keep up with the lore because it's often either interesting or amusing. If we could get a gun that behaves pretty much exactly like the N7 Piranha - which, yeah, is confirmed in - but doesn't look like it, that'd be great. I used the Piranha all through ME3, and never got tired of how it felt to fire, but the aesthetic isn't really to my taste. Oh, and an N7 Eagle pretty much as-is. Loved that gun. I really like the look of Peebee's pistol on the Game Informer cover, too, so here's hoping we get to use one like it. And that it's, y'know, actually good. I agree on the Piranha, was never a fan of its design... at least for a shotgun. I feel like it was designed as a grenade launcher and was changed partway through development for whatever reason. Or at least, it looks like it The Eagle is underrated, and quite unique, being fully-automatic. And it's a variant of the Phalanx (also underrated)! It has an interesting firing sound, too, even if not overly threatening. It's great with Marksman Also, I was amused at its description, which is also one of the few real-life references in ME lore: "The Eagle is named after the Desert Eagle, a classic handgun which gained a romantic reputation among gun collectors, thanks to its popularity in 20th- and 21st-century Earth action movies." To answer the thread question: I want all of them!
ME3's weapon diversity, combined with mods and powers, made its combat very fun with a lot of variety in how all those things acted together. But special mention goes to the Chakram Launcher, simply because I never got to use it, being an exclusive cross-over with Kingdoms of Amalur: Recoking Besides trying it out on my PC version after using the Gibbed Save Editor to unlock all weapons and outfits Don't tell Bioware See, this is why I don't like exclusives! If they release it months later, or even as paid DLC, whatever, but when I can never get it, like the Blackstorm in ME2, Banshee is sad!Anyway...

600 years old weapons? unlikely Uh... you know the crews are in cryostasis during the journey, right? Not doing R&D. So they're going to be using the gear they brought with them. And "600 years old" is fairly meaningless in this case, since they're going to be the only Milky Wayers in Andromeda, so you can't really compare their tech to native Andromedans' by that scale no matter how old it is by MW standards. The Phaeston assault rifle? I like the Phaeston's look and sound. It was fun finding it on my first playthrough, seeing an alien rifle finally, and upgrading the Avenger with something completely new. Yeah, same. I was like "woooohh" the first time I saw it on the ground. It's a shame how they didn't even give the gun to turians in the campaign, they were all using the crappy Avenger. Add me to the list of being very interested by the Phaeston and liking its immediately-alien design in my first playthrough, though my wonder came from the weapon ads throughout the Citadel instead, and I kept wondering when/if I'd actually find one! It has a cool name, too. Wish we got to see the alien militaries use their own weapons in ME3, though many of them were DLC. The M99 - SaberAll the N7 Weapons. The Vindicator The Saber is a blast! If you're patient and precise. I have fond memories of sitting on the ramp on Tuchanka in MP popping Cerberus goons in one hit each as they came around the far corner The firing sound is awesome, too, including the mechanical whirring between shots:

I don't think we saw weapons, but from the gameplay trailer armor certainly looks customizable in a DAI-ish way: separate head, chest, arms, and legs, and each of those has slots inside of it that change its properties and appearance. I'd say it's pretty likely weapons have something similar (if it wasn't blatantly shown and I'm missing it).

If there was one thing my Shepard loved more than his blue waifu and store discounts, it was his Mattock. Definitely OP assault rifle. Same with the Talon and the Locust...Cerberus basically went batshit insane third-rate Cobra, but DAMN did they make great weapons. But yeah, I'm sure no matter what they'll have some cool guns to play with--especially with all those explorable worlds, we'll get plenty of chances to run around and play with them too.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if you can craft the mods like in DAI and then install them on the weapons bench like in ME3.
