I feel now that they will have some sort of modding or customization for ME:A. I do hope that they keep the visual customization aspect and expand upon it from ME3 as well. I love making my weapons my own and make them different for others with the same weapon. Really cool feature I hope they bring back and make bigger and better.

That you could swap components in and out of the weapon which would effect how the weapon gets its ammo. With varying pros and cons depending on the mod and the style. Hopefully this is in Andromeda (though I doubt it)

This doesn't mean that we won't have any M7 Lancers in MEA. We've already seen directed energy weapons in the gameplay trailer, similar to the Prothean Plasma Rofle, but of Andromeda alien design. It seems likely that we will have an assortment featuring both cool-down and thermal clip weapons.

the N7 valkry was the best it sounded so awesome. The harrier was awesome but it was overpowered. I can't remember the names off all the guns but some of the MP guns were overpowered.

Many weapons kept over from the previous triology would need to be rebalanced. There was a huge performance gap between SP & MP versions. Also, I think that having less than 10 versions of each weapon would help with balancing. Personally, I was always a fan of the Falcon, although it was a prime example of Bioware's struggles with weapon balancing--going too far to the nerf or buff spectrum with every change. As long as there's a variety, I'm sure I'd be happy if there was very little of ME3 weaponry in the game. They just better remove that freakin' non-ADS penalty on all sniper rifles, I tell ya. Bioware is very anti No Scope.

It depends a little bit on how they manage it. For battles in areas occupied by the AI or bandits/rebels it would make sense that there are some thermal clips available. For missions into unknown territory we might be able to take spare ammo packs (like in ME3 MP). We also saw what looked like Khet weapons a few times in the trailer. Perhaps these operate using a different reloading mechanic, which means we could take them into Khet-occupied territory instead and have an available ammo supply. At least one of them also seems to be based on the ME1 overheat system.

I'm hoping that, since we are stuck with clips again, "ammo" supplies will actually be a resource worth managing. We've seen that we have to call down airdrops and/or return to base in order to change our gear. Maybe this is how we resupply with clips? I agree 100% that fields of thermal clips, or even little crates of them, are totally unacceptable in alien Andromeda. I'll do just as I did in ME3, if they are a nuisance: I'll find weapons that don't use them and stick to those as much as possible.

One of the only weapons I've never used. I also never got to use the Collector SMG, since it never was never available in SP. Those two alone eluded me in the OT. As cool. As the Blackstorm looks, I don't imagine I'd have put aside the arc projector for it. That thing is too useful, and only gets sets aside when the Cain comes out to play with Terminator-Reaper. Ah, but that's only because the game offers to use it the wrong way! It says to use it against heavy enemies, but the truth is I've found it far more useful to take out scores of small enemies at once! It draws in EVERY enemy in it's path! I recall once catching about 10 enemies at once with it!
