ME:A will be a bright spot in 2017?

Indeed I get a lot of enjoyment out of Bioware's games and over the past couple of years or soI've been playing them almost constantly alternating between ME and DA. Creating all kinds of characters to roleplay The new one's definitely got me excited so it's definitely feels good to have it on the horizon. I'm just hoping it'll play as good as it looks

Indeed if humanity wants a new home in Andromeda Me, Sara and Scott will find it even if we have to kill half the population of the Helios cluster to do it.

I gotta call em like I see em. What I've seen so far of ME:A makes even the worst parts of ME3 look good.

I don't know about bright spot, but MEA may have potential to be a good game. That said I think we are three games past BioWare's golden age. Will MEA recapture the lightning in a bottle of ME2, Dragon Age: Origins, KOTOR, etc? We'll see.

It'll be a piece of shit.

Really though the trailers are like Indiana Jones 6 scrapped material crossed with Enter the Dragon or some crap about self-revelation and discovery, I'm pretty sure a 6 year old's kindergarden story might fare better.

Edit: Oh and it's all in space for some reason, because, space makes everything better I imagine. 

All it needs are a few fictional liberalist racial kill fantasies crammed in and it'll sweep the oscars, no doubt. 

I hope ME: A will be a bright spot, but since i have no faith in Bioware, I don't hold out much hope. So far the only games I'm really looking forward to is DontNods Vampyr and Rares Sea of Thieves.

I hope 2017 is a great year for games, this past year was certainly not for me.

Agreed 2016 wasn't that great for games for me either I think the only game that kind of had the feeling of being close to great for me was the Tomb raider game that came out in January of last year. Don't think anything else came close to it.

I hate Andromeda but love the franchise. I want BioWare to stop ruining it.

I have given a sickening amount of suggestions what they're doing wrong and what they could do to fix it, as far back as two-three years ago, even before the leaks when people were wildly speculating how BioWare would avoid/fix the endings so they could make another game. When people suggested setting the new game in Andromeda, I told them the same thing I've said countless times since - the lore that they themselves wrote does not permit intergalactic travel. Just travelling around INSIDE the Milky Way without the Mass Relays is borderline impossible to do. The one way they could have gotten around that would have been to rip off Interstellar and generate a magical one-way wormhole to the Helius Cluster, but they obviously did not like Interstellar enough to rip it off like they did with the endings of Deus Ex.

Depends on where you live, violent crime rates have dramatically risen here and this cannot be linked to exposure through media nor better ''awareness'' of crime. So has unemployment rate, inflation, bankruptcy of big companies and - according to my personal anecdotic experiences- propensity to violence in the general population. 

As far as I can tell from those informations there is definitely a trend, the ''bad'' is on a rise here where I live.  

So you have a problem with the premise, even though they already explained how it is achieved, fine, but what about the game? you keep complaining about how terrible it's going to be, but you don't explain at all how, as all I'm seeing here aren't complaints about the game, but rather the premise.


You say you hate the game, want it to improve, but you're neither offering improvements nor accepting the fact that what Andromeda is is not the game you want to play. but you still insist on being negative everywhere you can be.
