Attempt number seven: Fail on wave three, due to getting slammed by brute... twice. Ravager saved my bacon the first time, but the brute went "nu-uh, you don't!" and slammed me the second time, right after getting up. The first devices spawned on landing zone and two phantoms spawned next to it and as I tried to kite, that happened. Time, 7:42. Attempt number eight: Fail on wave four, due to banshee teleporting next to me and going "your sexy ass be mine!", right away, without even giving me a chance to dodge. Fucking bitch. Spent one ops pack because I wanted to use TCP and pressed the wrong button. I can maintain my cool for pretty long, but when the shit hits the fan, it usually hits it hard, resulting in two or more used gels and probably ops pack or two. Time, 14:44. Nice getting some variety in my sync kills, if nothing else, I guess  Reegar proved quite a bit more powerful than Raider, so I guess I'll stick with it, honor be damned. Down to 11 shotgun amps III, so yeah, the time for me to complete this is rapidly running out. Still, I'm gonna say this, from the bottom of my black heart... FUCK.THIS.SHIT. You can do it!  |

I don't know if that is true, but I'm gonna keep on trucking for a little while, if nothing else  Gonna try something new next time, for fun, if nothing more. I'm thinking of a Typhoon/Venom N7 Destroyer. I got the build already figured out, the only thing that's confusing me, which mod would be better for Typhoon: Extended Barrel or High Velocity Barrel? For pugging Gold, I usually take the latter, but the former looks very nice on paper/kalence as well? Maybe if I take AP IV, the EB would be better choice? Or take Incendiary/Disruptor ammo instead, for some Tech Bursts/Fire Explosions and go with HVB? Any advice would be welcome EDIT: oh what the hell, here is the build I intend to use. Anybody spot anything wrong with it? |

mordokai linkThis is my build I use. I'd go with stabilization mod instead of more clips but it's up to you. Also I think M-Frag granade is better with 6a. Edit: In Dev Mode - instead of rate of fire I'd go with magazine size

You get the most dmg out of the Typhoon by using extended barrel and Ap IV ammo, for devastator mode you want rate of fire with that gun (for guns like the PPR you want Magazine size instead).
If you want to use also the Venom then the above is not the best though since AP ammo sucks for the Venom, then you could go with Disruptor or Incendiary and take the Heavy barrel on the Tyhoon, or you could also go with Warp ammo if you use both of those guns.

Use AP ammo and extended barrel. Venom's only gonna be used for phantoms and goons with that setup, and it doesn't need an ammo to deal with them.
On the other hand, AP ammo increases your main gun's damage by a lot.

I cant skip HML anymore personally, it s really a pleasure with the typhoon even at rank 3. It staggers CQ and mid range mooks for u to line cool HS.
