Mass Effect Andromeda Hype thread ("Very Soon"!!)

Man, I didn't know it was coming out this March! I want to be excited but it's hard to stay uncautious and wait for feedback before I eventually buy it.

I'm thinking February is going to be a blitz like never before of marketing and promotion for the game: the skepticism of many will turn to hype, and we'll have a good ol' hypebowl on our hands by March 1st heading towards release.

Love me a good hypebowl, community positive feels and all that

It will probably be like ME3, 80% of its marketing was between late january and early march.

Between this , impending arm surgery , and x3 weekly dialysis treatments yeah you can say im exceedingly more hyped for this game ! lol

I can't wait for Andromeda!!! I mean of course I can, but still..it's funny because I was so attached to the original, I was really hesitant to jump all on board with Andromeda. I changed my tune after seeing the AI videos..I'm just really hyped for this game and after that cinematic trailer... I just need it! So happy to get approved in here btw, been lurking for a few days chomping at the bit to get in!

It's keeping me sane as the world around us falls apart. I just know that when March 21st hits I can finally escape to my little fantasy world and forget everything happening irl.

I can relate to the sentiment, because I am looking forward to a good game. But I have a long gaming backlog that I will not finish till Andromeda release. I almost envy the folks that are out of things to play... or not.

At any rate, I am happy Andromeda is making a debute.

I don't think they need to die the trilogy was iconic. Probably the most iconic game series of the last generation. I would certainly put the games on the same level as the likes of Mario or Sonic or even Lara Croft in terms of gaming so I don't think they could or even should be forgotten. Because if that trilogy hadn't been made Bioware wouldn't be in a position to make Andromeda. Move on and enjoy the new game yes but not let the old ones die because those games are memorable and I know I'll still play them way after Andromeda comes out too because I enjoy the games too much to just let them die.
