 I'm working on an overwhelming back log as well but best believe it's all going on hold when MEA comes out.

I'm very glad to see I'm not the only one who it's killing haha..and to the lovely person who posted the fight club meme, you have me watching that now! lol

Sounds like a plan! I think I'd drink the champagnes now, that way I stay passed out for a week. And time will go faster!

I'm looking forward to customizing my own story as ever. I am however not aware of what in the authored tale here that I should really be excited for.
Given all the promo material there's just not much in terms of raw storytelling to excite me. The AI and focusing on first contact is a greate opportunity for some socio-political as well as warfare scenarios... but that's just not what this is, is it? It's like Pathfinder is like Inquisitor. BioWare is way too good to their characters and especially the player. I look forward to the customization, thanks for that BW, but I was also looking forward to creating my customized hero so I can see them struggle and overcome hardship, but the vibe this recent trailer gave me that much like DA:I the game is too inspired by the Marvels and the recent Star Wars to really risk anything of emotional impact with us. I fear the biggest emotional stinger will be Ryder crying with his sister because they lost their dad or something painfully ordinary that might as well've happened to someone in real life, but when the scope and the stakes are larger than life like this, it creates tremendous opportunity for drama, and drama is just not what I feel I've been teased at all, especially not when you've just introduced yet another cartoon villain who threatens to "burn" you in a booming, ominous voice. It's a complete drama-killer to have such an antagonist.

So, all in all, I'm hyped to have a game with freedom, to explore and to customize. I'm just not sure about that story-direction they've presented thus far.

DA:I was the first on-release BW game I played.

Getting hyped because it is simply a BW game. They do good work.

Plus, the combat look hella fun and it generally just vibes really well with me. Looks smooth, can't wait.

I am hit by the mass effect blues, as I call it. That feeling you get when you know Mass Effect is coming out and no other gaming fix just quite feels right


He'll halo wars 2 is coming this month and I am not nearly as excited as I should be...

I was a long time Mass Effect fan, but I quit playing after my Xbox broke shortly after finishing ME3 (events unrelated to each other, I promise).

I played Inquisition, and thought it was "OK".

Been following news for Andromeda, and am very interested. The more they reveal about specifics, the more I find myself being a little disappointed, but it looks fun. The most I'm hoping for out of it is a genuinely fun game with some likable characters. What I've given up on expecting is a stellar narrative. Just from what they've shown so far, I keep seeing a lot of "safe" choices. The Kett look incredibly uninspired. Some of the characters seem extremely one dimensional. Some of the design decisions are absolutely baffling, and I know for an absolute fact that something is going to be missing from this game, only to appear as DLC somewhere down the line (thanks EA).

Will I buy it? Yeah. Probably at a slightly reduced price, but yeah, definitely.

Will I buy it at launch? If there are reviews, and they look okay, sure.

Am I excited? Kinda.

Do I want to enjoy it? Absolutely.

Am I optimistic about it? No, not at all.
