Mass Effect Andromeda Hype thread ("Very Soon"!!)

The only thing I'm really left to hype about is the gameplay trailer. Once that's over and done with, and it's satisfying, I'll be able to hold out till march no prob.

Be careful, though; remember how that ended up with Cartman.

I'm increasingly hopeful for the game, but I won't loose my sleep over it. I can wait till 3/23, especially with Torment: Tides of Numenera releasing on 2/28.

I've been listening to more YT channels and podcasts about ME. Changed my PC's wallpaper as well. I try not to get really hyped about new releases anymore due to past disappointments (Destiny, Fallout 4, No Man's Sky).
Ridiculous wait times for new releases without even a rudimentary gameplay reveal for fan motivation is also really irritating as well (Cyberpunk 2077 anyone?)

I wish there was a definite answer to that. CDPR just secured a grant for $7 Million from the Polish government this past December to continue the development of the game, but who knows when we'll see the fruits of the new labor. And judging by the timetable so far there's no telling if that will even be enough. This game is supposed to be multiplayer with a completely interactive city to explore. The Witcher 3 was ambitious as hell in its own right, but it didn't support the former and only dabbled in the latter yet it still managed to land GotY. With that in mind Cyberpunk could end up could being one of the greatest games of all time (I know, I know, a guy can dream) or it could be just another hype machine.

To me the success or unanswered hype around Cyberpunk 2033 is going to be how they implement the protagonist for to me the biggest strength for The Witcher relied on played a completely fixed protagonist and it seems they will be moving at least a little away from that.

How powers and profiles work, obviously. We just saw some flashy shooty gameplay. Not really representative,probably.

Best not team up with me in MP then, 'cause you'll be dying...repeatedly.

 The problem here is that my account name and avatar name are different. It's too bad we can't choose a MP name for ourselves. So, we may meet but not know it.

Coming soon well see if this game is worth taking its place with the mass effect series. A glorious new beginning, a mediocre cash grab, or if it will wind down as the third strike for Bioware so to speak, as Angry Joe would say "Youve done fucked it up!!"
