Can't say I'm hyped, curious yup. Will be waiting for reviews on this/friends opinions before I'll get around to it. Got a backlog of games I need to finish first.

yeah I don't touch MP but I love playing single player. Creating new Shepards and going through these games. Yeah, I may end up sticking with single player unless something drastic happens. I didn't realize I had an edition (got it for free) that included all the MP DLC so I popped in, made a character (human) just to see what I could see. It somehow sorted me into a group with very high level players before I could even see anything and they booted me immediately. I'm sure the gazillion level players really weren't happy to see a level 1. But we have a date and I just got more excited for Andromeda. I can pre-order now. Yeah now we have an official date to lock onto we can start getting really hyped. I've already preordered through Origin as that's wher ethe delux eedition I want was so just need to wait till March 23rd now. I'm going by the europe date because I live in the UK so won't get it until then.

I'm hyped.
Pre-ordering game, novel, art book.
Getting a poster, maybe a t-shirt.
So excited for this game.
And hey, if it fails hard like so many Debbie Downers on here believe it will, I'll have plenty of stuff for a bonfire.

I don't really get hyped about games as I used to be, When it comes to MEA I at least pay attention even if I don't digg for news. It's better than nothing.

I don't really get hyped about games as I used to be, When it comes to MEA I at least pay attention even if I don't digg for news. It's better than nothing. Neither do I these days at least not as much as I used to. I've been playing video games most of my life but these days most games just like TV programs do feel a bit samey samey with nothing much new about them. Most games even ME to a point is kind of like open one door shoot 5 baddies open another door shoot another 5 baddies kind of feel. Not saying it's an overall bad thing as a lot of games still do have interesting stories and al that ME is one such series that does but it can feel pretty samey sometimes. Tbh the only things I tend to watch these days if I ever do watch TV are usually sport the occasional news bulletin and the odd quiz/gameshow like The Chase. I admit I am hyped for Andromeda though but that's because I liked the way that DAI was done for the most part and I enjoyed it Yes it has it's flaws but it was still a good game plus knowing how good Battlefield3 and 4 looked I thought even then that ME would look great on this engine and that the engine would be perfect for a game series like Mass Effect. What I've seen so far about MEA I like though but whether that continues only time will tell but the game certainly has my attention. Also the trilogy have become my favourite games that I own and I've spent a lot of hours in them and I'm still playing them even now and I'm looking forward to March 23rd to adding Andromeda to that ME list. If it plays as well as it looks I'm in for a fun time once I've dealt with my other problems

I gotta say I don't think I've ever been this excited for a game before. I've really only gotten into gaming in the past 5 or 6 years and most of that has been catching up to games. Aka playing games that were popular a year ago or more. I've never been able to count down the days and learn as everyone else learns of things. I think this is why it's so exciting is because it's all new to me. And also because the Mass Effect series is my favorite.
I would say I'm very optimistic of the game. No game is perfect but Bioware games have always been pretty close. (At least for me) I'm definitely going to preorder MEA but I'm going to wait until closer to release.

Hah, i was like you too on my first hype-run. The first time is always amazing, but get used to potentially feeling less and less inclined to board the train as time goes on. Welcome, btw. On topic: I was actually really burned out by both the ME3 and DAI hype despite liking both games, so while im kinda hyped its not as much as i could be. The things i look forward to the most is seeing if they nail the ME1 tone and the more set personalities of the twins. My RP style is working with what information the game gives me to create an interesting character instead of creating one from scratch, so im already pretty sure that i will get more playthroughs out of Andromeda than i did from Inquisition. Still feel kinda bad for the Blank Slate lovers, but Dragon Age seems to go in that direction so both kinds of role-players can have games that cater to them- which is awesome. Really, the only thing that could get me supremely hyped nowadays is a new Jade Empire.

However it gets tough trying not to scour the internet for info. Haha. I would say while I'm hopeful for MEA I'm almost equally realistic. For example unlike other players and posts I've seen on here and other places of "It HAS to have this or that, otherwise I won't love it". I'm more relaxed in that approach. Yes if it has certain things I would be thrilled. But if it doesn't have X, Y, or Z it won't ruin the game for me. For me the thing I love most about video games are the stories and the characters. I feel like for me personally I haven't been severely let down in these areas. At least not by Bioware. Even the Mass Effect 3 ending I liked. Not loved but liked it enough that the game or series wasn't ruined for me. I'm a little nervous about the preset personalities of the Ryder twins. But again I can work around it or maybe I'll even love it. Also I'm quite excited about the overall feel or tone of the game. The Mass Effect Trilogy was serious with moments of lightness while Mass Effect Andromeda so far feels lighter with moments of seriousness. Only worry for me in MEA is driving because I'm awful at it. Haha.

Not sure if I am hype or not.
I just preorder game for the first time. And just buy new graphic card. And save money to upgrade other part of my PC in March.

Consider me hyped. I had mostly stayed away from gaming news what with being really into Smite at the moment and had forgotten. Now that we're only two months out, I started seeing mass effect related material all over my youtube recommended and I'm back in.
Can not wait!
Space games are some of my favorite, always down for more.

I pre-ordered the game, but I can't say I'm hyped. Hype comes with fun trailers and spoilers, when I can't wait to see the whole story, but they didn't show anything really interesting yet.

I am more intrigued by the lack of big trailers and teasers, as it makes me hope that it's due to them keeping an amazing story under wraps for everybody to experience for the first time as the Pathfinder, rather then build a big hype train by releasing tons of info to the point where it may spoil too much. It can be looked at either way, good or bad, too much info can be just as bad IMO - like film trailers that look really good until you see the film, where you discover that all the bits in the 2 minute trailer were the only good parts of the 2 hour film.

I'm hyped in a good way. Not too much but enough to get the nice tingling of forecoming good stuff. If anybody is interested of screenshots from the previous trailers and some other promo footage, I've gathered a bunch of them in imgur. Here's the link to it, feel free to take a look and/or download them. MEA screenshots and promo footage

I'm getting more hyped as we get closer to march.
I pre-ordered and I'm thinking about getting a few days off from work to enjoy the game.
I'm also upgrading my PC with a sweet gtx 1080 and a new 27" 1440p 165hz IPS G-sync Monitor (gawd my money).
I'm getting ready!

I think its good and sometimes necessary to be critical of media we love, but some people take that to the extreme. Makes you wonder why half the people here are even here, they seem to be so anti-BioWare.

To say I'm hyped, would be an understatement. Granted Mass Effect 1-3 had it's flaws ( as does every game). But I love this series to death! I am a little sad that we won't be hearing what happened to the Normandy crew after ME3, in this game. But oh well... Ryder twins seem like they're going to be pretty interesting. Love Fryda Wolf's personality. And it's awesome they got Nolan North for Scott!
